Summary
It took them far too long to put the final pieces together, causing a lackluster finale that serves as a setup for another season.
We have reached the season 1 finale of Wolf Pack, and there’s plenty of stuff to watch unfold. From the kids adjusting to becoming a pact to Kristin (Sarah Michelle Gellar) still withholding plenty of information to picking up from last week where Austin (Rio Mangini) stabbed Baron, let’s dive into the season finale.
Wolf Pack Season 1 Episode 8 Recap (Finale)
The episode picks up right where we left off, with Austin stabbing Baron and everyone trying to figure out what to do next. We see Everett rip the knife out of him, and now some doctors come in to talk to him along with his “parents,” and Kristin and Garrett walk into the room. Now, they are calling him Everett and asking him many questions. In the car, Baron is with Kristin, and Garrett calls him Blake, and we are reliving the accident that killed Blake’s mom.
After a weird dream-like montage, we return to the kids trying to save Baron. Harlan has a panic attack and blames Everett, but he tells him it’s his anxiety. While all the madness is happening, the mystery man calls and tells them they need to get all the silver out of him or he will die. He says if he dies, it will break the bond.
Why was Baron supposed to kill Everett and Blake the night of the full moon?
Because Everett’s strength and Blake’s speed come from Baron, the more Baron fades, their powers will weaken and ultimately be gone forever if he dies. The mysterious person on the phone says they must save him, but Blake says to let him die because she wants this all over.
We see Kristin and Garrett discussing the bodies found, and he continues asking her to hold out a little longer until he can talk to the kids. Next, the kids gather around, trying to figure out Baron’s power. The following morning, Everett and Blake wake up together and realize Baron’s vitals haven’t changed much. They are discussing the benefits of whether or not Baron dies and how it will affect them.
At the police station, Kristin and Harlan are talking, and she grants him the chance to talk to Cyrus. He tells her that Cyrus isn’t the arsonist, to which she agrees. As they begin to talk, Cyrus shares that he did set a fire, but not this one, and we find out that it was a house that he decided to watch burn. After this, Officer Jang says they have found eighteen more bodies, including Officer Miller after someone called in an anonymous tip.

After Garrett tells them to get out of the station ASAP, Harlan notices something in his pocket, and it is the tape recorder that Garrett used when he was in the woods, thinking he was about to die. The entire message is him breaking down all their good memories together. Next, at the police station, Kristin says the game has changed, and she needs answers from Garrett now. He asks her if she trusts him, and she says no, not at first until she sees him with the kids.
Danny tells Blake that he met Kristin once, and she shook his hand. Then, Everett and Blake start assembling the pieces that Kristin might be more than meets the eye. Next, Garrett storms into the house, looking to see Baron. He says they have to get him to the hospital, and when they get ready to leave, Blake is staying behind to go with her dad. She says that if Baron dies, everything will go back to normal.
Who is Malcolm?
Malcolm was a firefighter, and Kristin explains that before Cyrus, he was their case’s number one arson suspect. It is also revealed that he was the man behind the voice all season long.
We move into this warehouse, where we see all these fire trucks, and a man comes out with an axe in his hand set to fight Kristin. A gunfight ensues, and we see Garrett get involved in the shootout. The mystery man calls Kristin to let her know he called Garrett first and now has a gun pointed at her.
Who is Kristin?
Kristin is Harlan and Luna’s mother. Finally, after so many weeks of speculation about who she was and how she was involved, we get the bombshell that she is their mother and Baron is their brother. She explains that only a pact can make him human again.
Wolf Pack Season 1 Finale Ending Explained
Baron says he doesn’t trust her, but she dissects each of the pact’s abilities, followed by showing hers, which included healing Baron on the spot. Next, Malcolm comes back into the fray and attacks her, and before she can kill him, Garrett shoots him and says you need him alive. She tells Garrett he can finally give the kids everything he ever wanted while helping her.
Finally, she says that Harlan can have the father he always wanted in you (Garrett), and he says, “not the human father.” The season ends with us seeing Baron (who can turn others into wolves) looking right at Garrett, and we fade to black.
What did you think of Wolf Pack Season 1 Episode 8 (Finale) and the Ending? Comment below.
You got a few things wrong. First off Blake’s mom didn’t die at the beginning and her dad was talking about calling their mom and for a place to stay like Mom’s alive. We still have no idea who the caller is, Kristen got a call as the firefighter is right around the corner with his axe. Maybe you need to rewatch this season?
Loved it! Need more! Action packed and left enough of the story line to either confuse or bring everything twofold.
Will there be a season 2
I think there should be a season 2 but give Garret time in season 2 decide whether he wants to become a wolf or not during the season
I thought it was awesome, I give it a 10. And can’t wait for season 2..
Good to see Buffy out there kicking butt and taking names. Or taking names and mercilessly killing people. It’s disappointing that the wolves killed lots of people that should not have been killed with no consequences. One big evil family I guess. Not much like the Buffy I knew. True Buffy had a couple of affairs with monsters but she never just let them kill innocent people . The story would have been better if so many people hadn’t been killed for nothing.
This article writer does get things twisted, facts, characters, etc. But doesn’t matter, WP is pretty well written and very entertaining. Hope there’s a second season to wrap things up!
This grandma loves this new series Wolf Pack. Can not wait for next season so please hurry!!!!!!
