In Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 2 introduces one hilarious addition to the series — Zava. Played by The Walking Dead: World Beyond Maximilian Osinski, Zava is a character that will surely bring a new dimension to Ted Lasso. The only question is, will he be able to help AFC Richmond from being relegated?
Here’s what happened in Ted Lasso season 3, episode 2:
- Keeley hires a former friend, Shandy. She is a former model and party girl who divorced a football player and is now at a shoot Keeley oversees. The director and producer of the commercial want Keeley to hire 100 extra that minute. However, Shandy shows some knowledge and suggests to the group they must gather close to the camera. This will give the illusion of a packed crowd.
- Keeley talks with her Chief Financial Officer, Barbara, who is rude to Shandy when introduced to the company.
- Rebecca manages to pursue Zava to sign with AFC Richmond, not Chelsea or Rupert’s team, West Ham United.
- It is revealed that Roy dumped Keeley and not the other way around.
- Roy berries the hatchet with Crimm, who said some mean pundit things about him when he was 17 years old.

Predictions
- Will Shandy end up helping Keeley or hurting her? This is the first time Keeley has been the boss. She could confuse about how she took the opportunity Rebecca gave her. Something tells me this will be one of those hard lessons Keeley will learn as she grows in business.
- The show keeps moving towards addressing that maybe Roy made a mistake breaking up with Keeley. To that, I’ll say, duh. Roy needs to swallow his pride and get her back because Jamie is waiting in the shadows.
- How will Zava affect the team? They are bringing a “diva” to a team with some of the best football cultures in the Premier League. At some point, the egos of Zava, Jamie, and even Roy will clash.
- There was no Nate in this episode, but something tells me Zava will still end up on Rupert’s team.
