Based on Osamu Nishi’s Japanese manga series, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, the popular anime series, is a fantasy comedy that follows the titular protagonist Iruma-kun, who is sold by his parents to the demon Sullivan.
However, it seems that the demon wants a grandchild and furnishes Iruma with a life of luxury.
Of course, there is a catch in the story, though, and he makes Iruma enroll in the demon school Babyls. While there, he must attend his classes with the other demons, but things are complicated because he has to keep his human countenance secret from the others.
Iruma tries his best to fly under the radar, but with Sullivan being the chairman of the school, the other demons start to assume that he is in line to be the next Demon King.
This fun and entertaining show currently has a 7.7/10 rating on IMDB and has received a generally good reception from fans. However, with the third season wrapped up, the fan base is looking toward the future.
Will there be a Season 4 of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun – renewed and canceled status
There is no official notice of the show returning for Season Four. However, with the popularity of the series so high, we will assume that there will be a fourth season of the show.
Previous runs of the show have had around 21 episodes, so there is no reason that the fourth run would be any different. With the turnaround for the show usually being rapid, we can surmise that season four of the show could be with us by the Summer or Autumn of 2024.
What could Season 4 of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun be about?
The end of the third season left the story open-ended, which is another hint that implies that a fourth season is hopeful.
In the season three finale, some hints were also dropped about the Music Festival arc, and it seems safe to assume that the fourth season would indeed focus on this.
Osamu Nishi’s Japanese manga series features the Harvest Festival. The students in the Misfit class are told that they must achieve Daleth (Demon Ranking 4) before their current academic session ends or risk losing Royal One.
Iruma and his fellow demon students do their best to ensure everyone advances. However, there is a twist in the tale when they realize that a 13th student in the class named Purson Soi has been hidden from the others.
This leads to problems for the students charged with performing the Hell Dance for the festival. Logically, this storyline would be used for the fourth season.
