We discuss predictions for the Prime Video series The Power Season 1 Episode 4, including the release date and where to watch online.

Prime Video has released the first three installments of The Power, a sci-fi series, promising superhero spectacle, and enticing drama. The dystopian series explores a world in crisis, as teenage girls from every continent start to discover that they have electrical powers accessible from their fingertips.

In “A New Organ,” society starts to fear these new powers, whilst others research the science behind such abilities. This scientific angle ruins most of the show’s fun but adds a realism to proceedings. Here’s what happened in The Power Season 1, Episode 3:

  • Margot heads to the crash site for more information then meets with the survivors as she investigates the reason the plane crashed in the first place. A 12-year-old called Makayla seems to be the prime suspect. She panicked and unleashed her powers on the flight.
  • Margot interviews Makayla and the surviving flight attendant, who believes Makayla transferred her powers to her.
  • Allie is taken to a convent that makes soap. She sees other girls with the same powers as her and wishes to leave. Sister Maria convinces her to stay, though.
  • Tunde is offered a job by CNN and meets with Ndudi to discuss his career prospects. Ndudi is angry Tunde stole her story and used her face for the viral video. Tunde seizes his opportunity and decides to take the job anyway.
  • Jos is ostracized at school and unable to use the school bus. She is then treated like a prisoner by the school staff. They keep all the girls with powers in holding cells in the school’s sports hall.
  • Margot and Rob collect Jos from school. Margot orders all the girls to be sent home, gobsmacked by the way the teens have been treated.
  • Jos shows her parents her powers. She then gets into a fight with her brother and accidentally electrocutes him. They take him to the hospital. Jos gets an MRI scan. It reveals that she has a new organ in her body that produces electricity. All the girls must have this same organ.
  • Margot phones Daniel about the discovery, but he already knows. The government are working on a plan moving forward; it is highly classified, though.
  • Margot ignores Daniel’s orders and organizes a press conference. She tells the world about the discovery of the new organ.
  • Politicians around the world panic and make extreme choices about these teen girls.

Some countries are planning strategies in secret, while others panic and make outlandish decisions immediately. Women in certain countries will be jailed or killed because of their powers.
  • Roxy will start using her powers to help Bernie and his crime businesses. Allie and the other girls at the convent will refrain from using their powers, though.
  • Margot will continue to work as a spokesperson, informing the world about these new powers. She will be seen as a hero by some and a villain by others but will accept her new purpose in life. The government may try to silence her.
