Bel-Air had an incredibly drama-filled episode this week with tons of moving pieces. From a massive shift in the Founders Award race to the Jazz/Hilary relationship to Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) finally meeting his son. Here is everything that went down in Bel-Air Season 2 Episode 7.
- Vivian and Phil make breakfast for the boys as they are proud of them.
- Geoffrey meets his son Frederick for the first time. Things start a little awkward, but they both settle in.
- Phil asks Carlton if he is okay with him lending a helping hand to Will for the Founders Award. He plays it cool but is a little upset.
- Will attempts to put Jazz and Hilary back together after discovering that LaMarcus is trying to win her back.
- After finding out her mom created one of the popular pieces at the art show, Hilary helped her set up an Instagram account.
- Doc calls an extra practice causing Will to miss a meeting with Phil.
- As the candidates make their case for the Founders Award, Will finally shows up late. After giving a great speech, he couldn’t spit out a few things, and we see Carlton make his move. However, the video of Carlton letting his white friend use the n-word leaks, causing a massive uproar.
- Frederick sees pictures around the house of Geoffrey and the Banks and also hears stories about how great he is. Because of this, Frederick is uncomfortable and wants to go back home.
- Before heading back home, Phil explains to Frederick how even though Geoffrey wasn’t psychically there, he was working his magic to ensure Frederick and his adopted family never went without.
- After practice, Will and his teammates grab a bite to eat. While they were there, Jackie came up drunk and made a commotion. He attempts to help her and ends up taking her home to Doc. Although he thought he would be in trouble, Doc appreciates him looking out for her and explains why she is the way she is.
- Next, Hilary and Jazz have a great dinner together. Then, when the check comes, Jazz’s card wouldn’t take it, and this causes Hilary to make a move to pay for it. Of course, this bothered Jazz and led to the two breaking up.
- Frederick returns to spend more time with Geoffrey.
- Will overhears Drew bragging about getting Carlton out of the Founders Award race. After that, Will confronts him, but Drew says he’ll never be able to prove it.
- Carlton spoke the truth about what happened on Instagram Live, but after it ended, he found the drugs and consumed them again.
