“The Day of The Girls” focuses on the beginnings of a revolution, as females around the world stand up for themselves against the male-orientated people in power.
Tunde (Toheeb Jimoh) follows one revolution in Saudi Arabia, where the use of these electrical powers has become illegal. He witnesses the results of this suppression.
Meanwhile, Allie (Halle Bush) grows into her powers, and Roxy (Ria Zmitrowicz) decides to seek revenge for herself. It’s an eventful episode that results in some powerful, inspiring moments. Here’s what happened in The Power Season 1 Episode 4:
- Tunde travels to Saudi Arabia to cover the new law that bans the use of these electric powers.
- An infomercial calls these powers Electric Organ Discharge (EOD), and the organ is called skein.
- Allie uses her powers to control a chicken. Sister Veronica sees her kill the chicken with her powers. Veronica tells Sister Maria that she must leave, but Maria thinks she is special.
- Roxy is shown one of her mother’s killers, who is now dead. She wants the other one killing too. Bernie refuses to kill anyone else, though.
- Roxy goes clubbing and drunkenly talks about her mother and the killer.
- Tunde captures footage of a protest in Saudi Arabia. The women fight the police. Both sides have many casualties.
- Allie resurrects a dead bird and then stops a girl from fitting. The other girls start to look up to her.
- Tunde defends a soldier from being killed and is attacked himself. He escapes back to his hotel room, which has been raided. With help, Tunde is driven to the border, escaping with all this historic footage.
- Roxy takes drugs and gets even more intoxicated. She asks for the killer’s name and address. Terry naively gives her the details. She drives over to the killer’s home straight away.
- Roxy kills the man with her powers. Then they are all shot at in retaliation, and Terry is hit.
- Roxy drives Terry to her father’s house, distraught that his possible death is all her fault.
- Allie stands up against Sister Veronica, and the other girls all side with Allie.
The Power Season 1 Episode 5 Release Date and Time
Episode 5 will be released on Prime Video on Friday, April 14th, 2023, at 12 am ET. Episode 5 is titled “Scarlet Minnow” and will have a run time of 61 minutes.

- Terry will die from the gunshot wounds, and Roxy will be shunned from the family for causing this death.
- She will leave her home and wander the streets with nowhere else to go. Roxy may even be targeted by the killer’s family, who want revenge.
- Tatiana and Margot will make a welcome return in this installment. Tatiana will continue aiding her husband in ruling Moldova, manipulating the President behind the scenes.
- Margot will continue to help the women of Seattle grow in confidence and avoid any further prejudices. Although the government will work against her, starting to distrust the Mayor.
- Allie will take over the convent, becoming the girls’ new leader. She will teach them to make the most of their powers.
