The Showtime mega-hit Yellowjackets is back for another outing of survivalist drama, cannibalism, occult horror, and murder, as we continue the story of a high-school girls’ soccer team being stranded in the Canadian wilderness. Twenty-five years later, the surviving girls try to get on with their lives while being extorted over what really happened out there in the woods — and trust us, it was nothing good.

Here’s what happened in Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 5:
- Adult Tai tracked down Adult Van. They didn’t get up to much in the episode — Van isn’t doing well, like the rest of them — but it sets things up for later when Tai takes a nap and wakes up as her darker self, kisses Van on the lips, and tells her they’re supposed to be somewhere else.
- In the past, we saw that Misty killed Crystal by pushing her off a cliff after getting carried away and revealing she destroyed the plane’s black box.
- In the present, Misty ran to Lottie’s cult after Walter got a little too full-on with her.
- Callie figured out her new beau was a policeman, so she fed him a red herring about Shauna having an affair with Randy. Shauna had to make this believable by luring Randy to a motel room and having him jerk off into a condom. He couldn’t, though, so filled it with strawberry-scented lotion, which was discovered.
- In the past, Lottie’s influence continued to expand, a seemingly psychic connection between the girls seemed to develop, and Shauna went into labor.
