At the end of Doctor Cha episode four, Jeong-suk (Uhm Jung-hwa) collapsed. This is because the resident had noticed In-ho’s (Kim Byung-chul) relationship with Seung-hi (Myung Se-bin) extends past friendliness, and she realized the bracelet her husband said was for her was actually for his mistress.
Now, everything is becoming overwhelmingly clear for Jeong-suk, meaning her life is bound to become even more complex.
However, with Roy Kim (Min Woo-hyuk) a consistent source of comfort for Jeong-suk, it’s evident the resident will bounce back in the weeks to come.
Plus, we’ve already seen her resilience, so there’s no way she’ll let Seung-hi and In-ho go unscathed. However, how this impacts Jeong-suk’s role at Gusan University Hospital remains to be seen.
Elsewhere, Roy Kim has found his way to Gusan University Hospital himself, drawing the ire of the jealous In-ho.
But the “Hollywood” professor has bigger fish to fry and is hoping to discover the secrets of his childhood, which may include abandonment.
As this story develops, it’s likely so too will Roy Kim’s relationship with Jeong-suk, a woman he has already noted has a knack for finding ways to connect with people.
