We discuss predictions for the 2023 Paramount+ series Fatal Attraction Season 1 Episode 4, including the release date and where to watch online.

We had the three-episode premiere of Fatal Attraction on Paramount+. The series is based on the 1987 film of the same name. We were introduced to the principal characters, Dan (Joshua Jackson) and Alex (Lizzy Caplan), and the aftermath of their affair, including murder. Here is what went down in Fatal Attraction Season 1, Episode 3.

  • We get an introduction to Dan, who enters a room where he is up for parole. He gives an empathetic speech, including admitting the crime in hopes of getting out of jail.
  • Each episode blends the past with us understanding Dan’s identity as a man, husband, and attorney.
  • Dan was excellent at his job, as he could show up in the courtroom and work his magic to get the job done. Because of this, Dan was on the verge of becoming a judge. The job he thought for sure he was a shoo-in for.
  • However, we find out that Dan lost out the Judge job to a rich kid whose dad paid for him to get it. The aftermath of losing out this job begins with him meeting Alex.
  • Alex works within the criminal system to help victims of abuse. The night of the party, she meets Dan, who seems slightly off. The two end up back at the offices, where they almost kiss. It was the beginning of a flirtatious affair between the two.
  • Dan was jamming in his car on his ride home, and something distracted him, and he crashed into a pole. He called Mike, who told him what to do to ensure he didn’t get caught as he was drinking.
  • One night at his favorite post-work bar, Dan and Alex are mucking it up together. She leaves him a note telling him to meet at a different restaurant. As they eat, the sprinkler system goes off, getting them both soaked and leading them back to her place.
  • The affair extends throughout the weekend as Dan’s wife is out of town. Although things are going smoothly, it’s getting a little too serious for Alex.
  • With his wife back in town, things go back to normal for Alex and Dan, and she doesn’t like it. One night, Dan attempts to leave Alex’s house, and she tells him she took several bottles of pills.
  • In episode three, we discover that Alex is the one that caused the fire at the restaurant, and she never took the pills (we knew this, but we see it). Then, Dan shuts her down for good and sets Alex off the rails.
  • Dan and Beth (his wife) are selling their house. Next, we see Alex arrive to “maybe” buy the place, setting Dan off. After this, Dan threatens Alex never to come near him or his family ever again.
  • As Dan is paroled in the present day, he is trying to repair his relationship with his daughter Ellen. Although rocky, Ellen is at least tempted to work with him on their relationship.
  • The final piece of the puzzle is Dan is out on parole and now working with Mike to clear his name in the murder of Alex.
