After several setbacks that they thought would ruin everything, Senku (Yusuke Kobayashi) and his friends devised a way to build their ship without sacrificing any of their needs or wants.
Although it took them over a year to complete, in the end, they managed to build a ship large enough and powerful enough to realistically get them to the other side of the world. Now that the group has officially set sail, fans can only guess and wonder just who or what Senku will encounter on his journey.
- Chrome comments that their ship is almost finished, but Kaseki says he’s having complications keeping the hull aligned.
- Senku says it is fine at first but soon realizes they’re running on limited time since the Why-Man appeared and wants to abandon the idea in favor of building a miniature yacht.
- Ryuusui suggests building a smaller model ship for Kaseki to base the actual ship’s design on instead.
- Since they cannot work during the winter, Senku and his friends create snowboards and a chocolate substitute.
- After a year of working, Senku and his friend finally completed their ship on September 10th, 5741 AD, and name it Science Vessel Perseus.
- Since not everyone can go on the ship, Senku and Ryuusui divide the group into a world exploration team and a humanity development team that will stay behind.
- On the world exploration team are Ryuusui, Senku, Chrome, Kaseki, Yuzuriha, Ukyo, Francois, Kohaku, Nikki, Taiju, Yo, Magma, Kinro, Gen, and a few others. The group also decides to bring along Hyoga and Homura, who remain prisoners on the ship.
- Once the ship begins to set sail, Ginro changes his mind at the last second, diving in and chasing after the ship to board it.
- As they finally begin their journey, Senku informs the group that their first destination will not be the other side of the world, but Treasure Island, where his father and other astronaut survivors first landed.
Dr. Stone Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date and Time
Episode 6 will be released on Crunchyroll on Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. ET. Episode 6 is titled “Treasure Box” and will have a run time of approximately 23 minutes.

Predictions
While it almost seemed like they would have to scrap the ship entirely, I was luckily wrong in my predictions last week as the group managed to find a way to make their ship work. After a year of hard work, Senku and his friends have finally achieved their goal of setting sail to find the source of the petrification and whatever other mysteries await.
- Since they’re heading toward his father’s crash site first, I could see the group finding some research or information that may help them understand the Why-Man and where he came from or acquired the tech to reach out to them in the first place.
- Senku said he was going to look for something at the crash site that could help revive more people, so I have a feeling he will find some nitric acid there.
