No one could’ve predicted just how crazy things would get for Senku (Yusuke Kobayashi) and his friends during this episode of Dr. Stone.
While they expected, even planned, to meet new people on treasure island, they could’ve never planned for most of the ship crew to be petrified again. Now a mysterious girl named Amaryllis, who claims to know the source of the petrification beam, asks for Senku’s help against her village’s oppressor.
However, only time will tell if Senku can trust her or if this island even contains the resources he came looking for in the first place.
- Senku and his friends approach the island with their ship and are still careful about how they plan to approach going on land.
- The group decides to send a small recon squad consisting of Senku, Soyuz, Kohaku, and Gen to the island first. After noticing something on the sonar, Ukyo stays behind to investigate the sea floor.
- The ship members discover that Suika stowed away on the Perseus in order to join the mission.
- Ukyo and Ginro discover petrified bodies on the sea floor and realize these people were somehow petrified after the first petrification beam and dropped into the sea.
- When looking back at the ship with a telescope, Soyuz discovers that everyone left on the Perseus, except Suika, has somehow been petrified again.
- Senku and his friends come across a beautiful young woman named Amaryllis on the treasure island. Senku and the other recon squad members follow her, hoping to learn more about their surroundings and the treasure’s location.
- As Amaryllis and the group talk, she slowly realizes that Senku is not there to take her to the “Master,” a man she is supposedly set to marry later.
- The members of Amaryllis’ village suddenly decide to riot against the Master. Senku decides to calm them with the teargas he brought onto the island just in case.
- After seeing what she calls sorcery, Amaryllis reveals that she not only knows the source of the petrification beam but that her goal is to marry the Master so that she can infiltrate his palace and defeat him.
- Amaryllis then asks for Senku’s help in her fight.

Predictions
My predictions weren’t exactly right or wrong last week. It seems this island’s Master could possess some interesting technology. It was also hinted that maybe Soyuz was sent away from the treasure island for a reason, but it has yet to be revealed. Until we learn more, I will continue to speculate.
- Although I think this Master has a way of petrifying people, I don’t think he is the Why-Man or has the same beam that originally petrified the planet. I have a feeling we’ll find out this person has maybe cut a deal with Why-Man for power.
- Considering that the Master can petrify people, I also feel that he’s probably already used up all the resources from the treasure chest that Senku was searching for.
