In episode six, the students of KISS attend Min Ho’s (Sang Heon Lee) lavish party. This party ends in underage drinking, and plenty more revelations as Kitty (Anna Cathcart) tries to get over Dae (Minyeong Choi) and move forward with her life.
XO, Kitty Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
The episode begins with Kitty and Min Ho flirting. These two were sworn enemies not too long ago, but Kitty seems to have changed her mind.
Oh no, wait, it is all just a dream. Min Ho wakes from this nightmare, shocked that he has feelings for Kitty.
Kitty is still reeling from the last revelation. Alex’s father is Professor Lee, the mean-spirited teacher at the school. She meets up with Alex to discuss this reveal further. Alex doesn’t want to confront the Professor, though. He tells Kitty that he isn’t rushing into this.
Alex has tests to prepare for, and Kitty should be revising for them. They don’t have the time to focus on this elaborate cover-up, although Kitty is still eager to introduce Alex to the rest of her family.
What does Kitty want from the party?
She tells Q all about the previous night’s revelations. Q has had enough of Kitty’s drama as well. He changes the subject, mentioning Min Ho’s madness party, which is seen as the event of the year. Q wants Kitty to dress for the occasion and to find a new man there. Kitty is up for finding a new lover and is excited to have her first kiss.
Before the party, Yuri meets with Dae. She convinces her mom that she is going to the cinema, but in secret, she will be doing a DJ set at Min Ho’s party.
They discuss Jina, who thinks that Yuri is happy for once. In fact, Yuri is probably at her lowest, estranged from her girlfriend, Juliana.
We then catch up with Min Ho at his party. He notices a woman entering the party and obsesses over this new girl. Min Ho is shocked to discover that it is Kitty. She has had a complete makeover.
Min Ho’s dreams are now becoming a reality. Does he have eyes for Kitty, after all? Dae is also amazed by how Kitty looks.
Why does Kitty get drunk?
Kitty gains a lot of attention at the party. She tries to ignore Dae and concentrates on getting her first kiss. Florian brings a hip-flask and pours alcohol into the student’s drinks. Kitty starts to get a little tipsy, having never drunk alcohol before in her life.
She looks up many possible suitors on the dance floor but is unimpressed. A handsome man called Geon gets her attention at the bar, although he starts to bad mouth Yuri.
Kitty ditches him as well. Yuri happens to overhear this.
Yuri then draws her own attention, stealing the spotlight on the dance floor. She forces Dae to dance with her. He starts to loosen up and thanks Yuri for distracting him.
Later, Dae bumps into Kitty. She is now quite drunk and purposely ignores him.
Next, Kitty phones Alex, apologizing for meddling in his life. He realizes that she is drunk and points out that it is passed curfew. Kitty hangs up, worried he will report her.
Then she accidentally messages Professor Lee, giving away her secret entirely.
How does Jina find the party?
Professor Lee calls Principal Jina about the party. Jina tracks her daughter, locating the party venue instantly. They quickly drive over to this party, where Alex is already attempting to send students home. The students won’t listen to any of the staff members, though.
Min Ho fears that the party will end in an underage drinking scandal. The adults search for a way to cut out the music.
Professor Lee and Principal Jina share a moment, hinting at a historical romance between the two.
Why is Kitty angry with Dae?
Q and Florian finally kiss, but Dae interrupts their make-out session. He’s concerned about Kitty and wants to know why she hates him. Kitty is angry because Dae never thanked her for the necklace. Of course, he never received it. Dae quickly figures it out; Yuri kept it for herself.
