“Legacy” concentrates on the second round of the competition. Camille (Fleur Geffrier) travels to Italy for answers, and Issei (Tomohisa Yamashita) investigates the truth about his parents.
This installment is split into two main parts; a fun trip to Trento allows for some adventure, while the second part is much more serious, focusing on the test. As always, the writing is top quality. Here’s what happened in Drops of God Season 1, Episode 6:
- Camille and Lorenzo journey to Trento in Northern Italy to investigate the painting further. An art expert tells them that the painter worked with their father on the piece. They visit the family home, although they aren’t allowed access to the building.
- They stay at a scenic hostel, yet the owner, Elisabetta, is decidedly antagonistic towards them, as are the other winemakers. Nobody will let them sample their wines.
- That night, Elisabetta opens up to Camille. She tells her to be more persistent.
- Camille uses the guide to scare the winemakers into letting them taste their white wines. This upsets Elisabetta and ends with no clear-cut answers.
- Meanwhile, Issei confronts his mother about Alexandre. She practically confesses. Issei then meets with Yurika. She is searching for Hirokazu. Issei opens up to Yurika, and they kiss.
- At another vineyard, the owner tells Camille the history of Elisabetta and her father, Pier Fossati. He was a famous winemaker who used innovative techniques. He was inseparable from his daughter. Camille has found the link.
- Camille asks to taste Elisabetta’s table wine. She thinks this is the one, even though the flavors are different. Elisabetta states that Alexandre wanted to use it in his guide, but they refused.
- Yurika finds Alexandre’s items in a box in Issei’s kitchen. The files include his lecture notes. The correct wine is written next to a photograph of the painting. Issei now has the correct answer too.
- At the competition, they both guess the correct answer. But Issei has crossed his answer out. Camille wins by default. Round three will decide the winner of the inheritance.
- Camille is furious with Issei, who came across as arrogant. Secretly, he didn’t want to win because he felt he had cheated.
- Camille tells Luca that she will not be taking over the guide. It is too much responsibility. Luca turns nasty, saying that he will make sure Camille loses the competition.
Drops of God Season 1 Episode 7 Release Date and Time
Episode 7 will be released on Apple TV+ on Friday, May 26th, 2023, at midnight PT. Episode 7 is titled “Food and Wine” and will have a run time of 51 minutes.

Predictions
- Issei has been confused and saddened by his discoveries, finding out that Alexandre was his father and that he had lied to his entire life. This possibly explains why Issei failed the second test on purpose, unsure if he wanted the inheritance at all.
- In the next installment, Issei will realize that he does want the inheritance. He can use it to fulfill his dreams and to start afresh, away from his controlling family.
- Camille has now made an enemy out of Luca. This will spur her on to fight for the inheritance. She has nothing else to fall back on, she needs the inheritance more than ever.
- Both competitors will be told the third and final challenge, probably the toughest yet.
