The finale of Saint X is almost here. In the penultimate episode, Emily (Alycia Debnam-Carey) spends more time with Gogo (Josh Bonzie) as her mental state spirals out of control.
In flashbacks, Edwin’s (Jayden Elijah) sexuality is explored while Alison (West Duchovny) plans her unforgettable last night of the holiday.
The series is still marred by its overwhelming flaws. Yet this episode is the most entertaining, including some genuine tension. Here’s what happened in Saint X Season 1, Episode 7:
- In the present timeline, Emily agrees to meet with her old therapist. Watching Gogo beat a man has traumatized her. She tells the therapist about the ordeal. She wonders if Emily is purposely seeking danger. Emily loses the plot and storms off.
- She walks into oncoming traffic. Gogo spots her, and they chat at their cafe. Emily hints at her true identity. She takes them to a club. Emily dances with Gogo, who is offended by her advances and leaves.
- On the island, in flashbacks, Edwin is paranoid that everyone knows about his sexuality. Alison tells Olivia that she wants to spend her last night with Edwin, even though he is a notorious womanizer.
- Desmond asks Bery if he should tell Gogo the truth about Sara. Edwin has forced her never to date Gogo. Bery talks with Gogo; she sees that he loves Sara. She asks Desmond to tell Gogo the truth after all.
- Alison realizes that Tyler and Edwin were not worth chasing after. She agrees to spend the night with Claire.
- Edwin invites Alison out to a local bar. Alison prepares for her date. Desmond tells Gogo the truth. Gogo confronts Sara. She says that she doesn’t have feelings for him.
- Alison updates Olivia about her date. Olivia suggests that she has a threesome with Edwin and Gogo.
- Gogo is about to argue with Edwin about Sara, but Alison interrupts the argument. They head to the local bar.
- In the present, Josh and Sunita search for Emily. She gets into Gogo’s cab.

Episode 8 will be released on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, at midnight ET. Episode 8 is titled “Faraway” and will have a run time of 54 minutes.

Predictions
- The finale will focus on Alison’s tragic final night. She will go to the bar with Gogo and Edwin. The two islanders will get into an argument over Sara and ditch Alison. I don’t think either of them is the killer. Maybe Edwin will reveal his true feelings to Gogo, and they will fight.
- Alison will head to Faraway Cay alone. She will be followed by her killer. Could it be Tyler, who is jealous of Edwin and secretly hates Alison, or could it be Ethan, the pervy older man, who steals Alison’s clothes?
- In the present timeline, Gogo will confront Emily. He’ll figure out her true identity and question her. Emily will ask for the truth of what happened that night. Gogo will confess. He will blame himself for not helping Alison, but he will not know the real killer.
