No matter how concrete anyone’s plan is in Bungo Stray Dogs, with so many pieces and players, it seems they can never be executed smoothly. Even Ranpo’s (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya) plans were foiled this week, with Fukuchi (voiced by Akio Otsuka) still getting his hands on One Order despite their best efforts to stop him.
However, this show is never entirely predictable, as no one could see the friendship between Aya (voiced by Minako Kotobuki) and Bram (voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda) blossoming or Dazai’s (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) sudden escape from prison.
With nothing ever quite as it seems, it will be interesting to see how the Armed Detective Agency and Fukuchi adjust their plans to deal with these new twists.
- Unable to find evidence of an intruder, Fukuchi wonders if this is just another trick by the Armed Detective Agency.
- Atsushi fears they will not be able to hold their own against the gifted escorting One Order into the country, but Ranpo assures otherwise.
- Instead of intercepting the delivery, Ranpo says they must convince the European military that the exchange is too dangerous, so they will retreat.
- An explosion occurs at the airport, and Fukuchi realizes his communication devices are jammed.
- Realizing terrorists have discovered their plan, the European military aborts the delivery mission.
- Aya is revealed to be hiding in Bram’s coffin when he wakes up and asks who is there.
- The military officials flying the plane both suddenly die of a suspected poisoning.
- Just as the plane is about the crash, Tetcho of the Hunting Dogs uses his ability to cut it into pieces while Fukuchi acquires One Order.
- Ranpo realizes it was likely Fyodor who planned for this.
- Thanks to a dimension-altering ability, Fukuchi cannot open the box containing One Order.
- In a flashback, Ango is seen talking to unknown military personnel, advising that One Order should only be unsealed when the Vampire Army begins to attack.
- Ango lies, saying this is the order of the unconscious Chief Taneda, knowing he will be labeled a criminal if the chief never wakes up.
- In their prison cells, Dazai laments to Fyodor that he is bored and that perhaps it is time for a certain thing to happen.
- Fyodor wonders what that thing is, and Dazai says that one of them should die. Fyodor agrees but says it is time for an escape before disappearing from his cell.
- A hole opens up in Dazai’s floor, and he falls through, transporting his to a random hall in the Meursault prison.
- Dazai and Fyodor see that Sigma and Nikolai are the ones who broke them out, only because Nikolai still wishes to kill Fyodor.
- As Aya and Bram speak, she learns he is not with Fukuchi and asks him to tell her everything about what’s happening.
- Fukuchi goes to Bram to initiate the vampire attack, only to find he has been taken from his coffin.
- Nikolai has Dazai and Fyodor play a game, injecting them both with poison before seeing who can escape the prison first. Whoever does will get the antidote.
- Aya tries to break Bram out of the airport, but Fukuchi has all of the exits covered.
- She begs Bram to help, but he refuses at first, only agreeing if she can acquire him a wireless radio for his long slumbers.
- She agrees to give him her cell phone in exchange.

Predictions
While I was right about Aya hiding in Bram’s coffin, I could’ve never guessed things would play out the way they did, with a 10-year-old befriending a heinous vampire through the gift of technology. With things as crazy as they are right now, let’s see if we can guess what will happen next episode.
- Despite only one of them being able to get the antidote from Nikolai, I don’t see either Dazai or Fyodor dying. If anything, I think Fyodor would find a way to kill Nikolai first.
- With vampires all over the area, I don’t think Bram and Aya will be able to escape. I think she may even be bitten by one instead.
