At the end of Destined with You Episode 2, Hong-jo (Jo Bo-ah) decides to try the love spell from the book contained within the antique wooden box. This comes after she was rejected by Jae-gyeong (Ha Jun), who likes the civil servant “as a person,” and following the embarrassment of that rejection becoming public domain.
What comes of the spell remains to be seen, however, though its success could provide insight as to just how powerful this book is.
Meanwhile, Sin-yu (Rowoon) has found himself enamored by the “cure disease” portion of the spell book. As a result, he wants to use that page for himself, hoping it’ll rid him of the brain condition he suffers from that is currently said to be incurable.

- Hong-jo, a civil servant, has been transferred to City Hall but finds herself isolated from her colleagues (partly due to having a negative history with the team leader.)
- Sin-yu and Hong-jo met while the latter was trying to get permission to demolish the shrine the former was in charge of.
- Sin-yu has moved to City Hall to become a legal advisor.
- Sin-yu, interestingly, is seen to be targeted by a red hand which every now and then reaches towards his cheek.
- The wooden box currently owned by Hong-jo was given to her by Sin-yu, who believes she is its owner.
- Hong-jo’s former school friend, Na-yeon, is attempting to apologize for their previous behavior. It is made clear that Hong-jo allegedly “stole” Na-yeon’s boyfriend, though.
Destined with You Season 1 Episodes 3 and 4 Release Date and Time
Destined with You Season 1 Episode 3 will be released on Netflix on August 30, 2023. The usual release time is 4:00 pm (BST), but sometimes this varies. We do not anticipate any changes to the schedule yet (sometimes this happens in the K-Drama world.). Destined with You Season 1 Episode 4 will air at the same time the next day, August 31. Each episode has an approximate runtime of around 65-70 minutes.
