We discuss predictions for the Apple TV+ series Invasion Season 2 Episode 5, including the release date and where to watch online.
Episode four, “The Tunnel,” follows two main storylines. Jamila (India Brown) and her friends take the Channel Tunnel on their quest to find Caspar (Billy Barratt). While this special boy is still fighting for his life in a coma in Paris.
The latest installment is hampered by more embarrassing and generic dialogue, with the main gang of heroes truly testing your patience in the process. These unlikable and entirely cliched characters will have you rooting for the aliens. Here’s what happened in Invasion Season 2, Episode 4:
- Monty drives his dad’s Jaguar through Kent to the Channel Tunnel. The entrance is blocked off, though by the military. Nobody is getting in or out of the tunnel. Jamila decides to take a different route inside.
- The kids break into the tunnel and head off on foot. They come across many dead bodies along the way and one solo alien. The alien dies before attacking them though. This coincides with the attacks in the previous episode.
- Jamila and the gang notice curled up, dead aliens and then see one final transmission being sent to the mothership. Those dead aliens then come back to life, larger and stronger than before.
- The kids race through a gate and hide from the ensuing aliens. They are trapped by a derailed train and the subsequent wreckage.
- In Paris, a doctor called Esmee observes Caspar in his coma. The scientists do experiments on the other special children with the same powers as Caspar. Their hospital is then attacked by these new, evolved aliens. Caspar must be left behind.
- Jamila sees a vision of Caspar that spurs her on to find a way through the wreckage. They make a new path and escape to the tunnel’s exit. Unfortunately, it is blocked and lined with explosives.
- The kids cry out for help and the soldiers manage to save them in time. They set off the explosives and blow up the army of aliens. Darwin is injured in the process and sent off to the hospital.
- The others decide to carry on with their journey. Meanwhile, Caspar’s hospital is attacked by aliens.
Invasion Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date and Time
Episode 5 will be released on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, at 12 am PT. Episode 5 is titled “A Voice From the Other Side” and will have a run time of 51 minutes.

Predictions
- Following the show’s format, it would be safe to assume that the narrative returns to one of the other subplots. The next episode could concentrate on Mitsuki’s story or Trevante’s or the Malik’s.
- Aneesha’s daughter Sarah has gone missing and the Movement will help search for her. I’m going to predict that Sarah has been taken just like the other missing people.
- Mitsuki will continue to analyze the alien species in the heart of the crashed ship. This alien will start to act out and retaliate. Mitsuki will be injured and placed in a coma.
- Trevante will investigate the many disappearances in McCurtain County, discovering new revelations along the way.
