People love to get the inside scoop on financial scams, and Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story has been a highly anticipated show that covers one such story, and it’s a doozy. It involves one of the most incredible financial scams. and explores the complex and complicated narrative that surrounded Abdul Karim Telgi and a twenty-year-long Stamp Paper fraud.

The show is actually part of a franchise that presents various scam-based events, and previously, fans would enjoy Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story.

Released in 2020, the story followed a stock broker who would take the stock market for a ride in the early 1990s. So, the series has already got fans talking about it. The trouble is, the story has still to reach a conclusion, and fans are eager to know what happened.

What is Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story about?

The story follows Abdul Telgi, who was once a fruit seller who would stumble upon a scam that could potentially earn him a lot of money. Telgi became the main component in a system that would involve many people and would grow at an incredible rate.

Telgi would find a way to counterfeit stamp papers and sell them across India, and if that doesn’t sound like such a great idea, his operation would lead to a financial gain of over four billion dollars.

The show follows how the operation managed to work for so long and the far-reaching implications that it had.

When will Scam 2003 Part 2 be out?

The show is directed by Tushar Hiranandani, and the story is adapted from Sanjay Singh’s book, Telgi Scam: Reporters Ki Diary. The series stars Shashank Ketkar, Bharat Jadhav, Sana Amin Sheikh, Sameer Dharmadhikari, and Talat Aziz. The season appears to have been split into volume one and volume two. Five episodes of the show have dropped, and at the time of writing, it has been reported that the remaining episodes will be available in November of 2023.

The first season dropped all of its episodes at the same time, so fans were confused about the decision to split the series into two.

In an interview with India Posts, producer Hansal Mehta explained the reason for the delay.

He explains that a date had been set to release the series, and work was completed on that first episode; however, due to the nature of the show, a lot of work was still required on the later episodes, so he did not want to delay the show, they would release the first five episodes while they continued work on the last ones.

There is also another advantage in splitting the series, as it means that fans will be eagerly awaiting the conclusion to the show, and when they drop, there will be a spike in interest in the show for the second time in the year.

How many episodes are in Scam 2003?

Ten episodes in total, five in the first volume and a further five in the second.
