Podcast

You can find us on SoundCloudiTunesStitcher or Podbean. Subscribe, share, and enjoy. Or don’t. Whatever – just live your lives.

What’s the first thing you do after watching a movie? Talk about it, right? Well, that’s what we do. And we’d like you to listen.

Every week, we get together for an open, honest discussion about film, whether it’s the latest flavour or an old guilty pleasure. We mess with the community, hold Q&As, run terribly unfair quizzes, invite guests, rant, rave and insult each other. It’s a good time.

Schedule:

We have three main flavours of the show. Every week, on Sunday, we post our flagship discussion: a 90-minute deep-dive into a single film, sometimes selected by us, and sometimes voted for by our listeners. In these episodes, we make time for dicussions with our community on Facebook and Twitter, we have a Q&A segment, and there’s the now-famous quiz, hosted by Laura and won (almost every time) by Jonathon. Arguments ensue.

Halfway through the month, we preview the next month’s wide releases. These episodes typically run for about an hour, and they’re laid-back, speculative, and often wrong. Look out for these on whichever Wednesday happens to land closest to the 15th.

Finally, we have our review roundup show. And because we’re generous, you get two of these each month. Somewhere between the 18th and the 25th, we’ll take a look back at the movies we’ve seen in the first half of the month, discuss some of the reviews that have been posted on the site, and hand out some scores. On the beginning of each new month, we’ll cover the movies that were released in the second half of the previous month. Make sense? I hope so, it’s pretty simple.
