How does Reality Z season 1, episode 10, “Be Human” open?

Episode 10 starts with the survivors asking the congressman via camera to live up to his promises. Teresa sits next to Robson and says they must find Léo even though she thinks he may be dead — “There are worst fates than death in the world right now”.

Militia

Levi has an idea to give the other group of survivors a leader. But then, there’s a twist as Cristina has pointed out that the police have arrived. Levi speaks to them via the microphone (even though the microphone didn’t work in previous episodes). The leader of the police makes a threat — “If you don’t open the door, we’ll kill a person every 15 minutes”. The leader of the group grabs Léo and counts down. Levi talks on the microphone again as he’s realized this is a new faction of the militia. He tells the leader that every ruler needs subjects. Levi suggests negotiating over Olympus. Meanwhile, Robson stops Teresa from opening the door to the militia and tells her he is on her side.

Robson’s plan

Levi tells the leader, Mr. Fish, that the only person who knows how to control this place is Léo. Mr. Fish doesn’t seem to care and gives them five minutes. Robson agrees with Levi — the militia have more ammo so they need to negotiate — he suggests bringing in four of the militia squad, including Mr. Fish, and killing them. Reality Z season 1, episode 10, “Be Human” feels like a silly play of war games.

Negotiation

Levi gives Mr. Fish a brief tour and then they start negotiating. Levi tells Mr. Fish that intelligent men think long term while everyone else in the room prepares their attack on the soldiers. Meanwhile, the zombies are starting to breach the other building.

Levi’s bold move

Levi points the gun at Mr. Fish and asks his men to put their guns down. In a shock twist, Levi shoots Robson in the head and Cristina is devastated. The other building is now crawling with zombies. Levi tells Mr. Fish that this place could be ours, including the women. One of Mr. Fish’s men is shot and Léo kills another one. The old woman slices Mr. Fish’s neck and he turns around and shoots her. Reality Z season 1, episode 10, “Be Human” is ending the series veering on ridiculous.

Don’t repeat our mistakes

Teresa is hurt from a gunshot and she tells Léo to put an end to this private property. Teresa starts recording and warns everyone about this place in case they find her phone — “There was a lot of love and friendship, lies, bigotry, and betrayal. Don’t repeat our mistakes. Be more human than us”. Olympus is then overrun by zombies. Teresa tells Léo she’s going to do what his mother told her to do.

How does Reality Z season 1, episode 10, “Be Human” end?

Cristina kills Levi as he was threatening Barbara; she tells Cristina to lock herself in the stock room as she’s been bitten. Barbara tells her she doesn’t want to be the only one alive in this place and asks her to bite her neck. Teresa tells Léo to open the door to let the zombies in; they are all zombies now. Before the credits roll, Teresa’s phone rings in the secret hiding place. By this point, the series could not be saved — Reality Z season 1, episode 10, “Be Human” childishly flips the script whenever it pleases to continue the drama.
