An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts season 1, episode 6 recap
Episode 6 opens up with Alice narrating that she dodged a bullet with Carlo. Carlo catches up to Alice while she rides her bike and tries convincing her that it’s not what she thinks when she saw him with another woman. Alice tells him to f**k off, and rightly so. She’s already moved on from this part of her life, so her mindset is correct.
Alice meets Enrico as he isn’t replying to her texts. She apologizes that he was fired. He claims he quit as it didn’t make sense staying. Next up, Alice plans to apologize to Davide. So she apologizes to him, and he accepts it.
At work, Cristina talks to Alice. She apologizes to her and admits she envied her friendship with Carlo. She reveals Carlo has acted strange recently. Alice does not tell Cristina the truth (about seeing Carlo at a restaurant with another woman) and states that Carlo could be acting weird because their wedding is coming up. It’s clear at this point that Alice will need to support Cristina and Carlo in some fashion.
Alice asks Tio what he thinks of Davide and her. She admits to fancying him. Tio reacts particularly oddly and questions his capabilities as a love consultant. So, Alice meets up with Paola. She feels she’s in a mess now that she likes Davide. She also tells Paola that Tio is acting strange. Paola wonders if Tio has a crush on her, which would make sense, but obviously, that brings the twist near the end of the chapter.
Davide and Alice finally have a moment with each other, and they kiss each other passionately. Davide wants to head out with her. Alice feels like she’s daydreaming, but then she gets a call from Cristina, and she’s crying. She has to leave Davide to support her. She reassures him she will be right back. Meanwhile, Tio gives his breakdown on the star sign Virgo — in summary, “if you bump into a Virgo, then you are in trouble.”
Cristina tells Alice that Carlo is seeing another woman because his phone has been off for hours. Alice helps her pick herself back up. Alice confronts Carlo and tells him to get his act together and make amends with Cristina as he’s marrying her and holding his unborn child.
The ending
A couple of things happen to end season 1, giving audiences hope that there will be a season 2.
Alice heads out to meet Davide but then she sees Tio so she catches up with him. She admits to him that she’s been a bit selfish. She asks Tio if he has a crush and he smiles. Tio hugs her and Alice says she doesn’t want to make things worse. Tio laughs at her insinuation that she thinks he has a crush on her. He says it’s someone else. The geologist turns up on his bike and Tio says he really likes him.
And with that, Alice has clarity, but it’s soon met with heartbreak — she goes to meet Davide, but when she meets him outside, he’s kissing another woman who has been helping their production. Alice did not find love after all, so where will this leave her?
