Who died in Ozark season 4, part 1?
Sheriff Nix – Episode 1
Omar Navarro’s nephew Javi did not take long to make his presence known in Ozark season 4. His erratic, unpredictable behavior is apparent immediately. Sheriff Nix attempting to find out more information on the disappearance of Helen Pierce proves to be his unlikely downfall.
When Sheriff Nix visits Helen’s home, he finds Javi in the house, who appears to welcome him with open arms. However, Javi turns the music up and shoots Nix in the head for an instant kill. Javi then asks Marty and Wendy to deal with the body in the crematorium.
Kerry Stone’s driver Brinkley Simmons – Episode 4
After Kerry Stone overdoses on Darlene’s drugs in the casino in episode 4, Ruth is panicking; she needs to cover it up that it was their drugs. Ruth rushes to tell Darlene that everything will be okay.
However, Kerry Stone’s driver Brinkley Simmons talks way too much and suggests he will need a cash incentive to keep his mouth shut. Darlene wants zero loose ends and shoots Brinkley squarely with a shotgun.
He wasn’t an important character, but he’s another person added to Darlene’s kill list.
Frank Senior – Episode 6
Frank Senior barely features in season 4, but he has plenty of grievances with Darlene due to their dispute with money owed and the distribution of drugs. Darlene refused to return all the money owed due to the lack of networking with her product. With Sheriff Nix out of the picture, it’s caused ruptures in the supply chain.
Frank Senior reaches his limit, and he decides to confront Darlene in her own home, which is a foolish idea. He rants angrily at her. Darlene chooses to end their dispute once and for all. She grabs the shotgun and shoots him dead.
Frank Senior is no more.
Wyatt Langmore and Darlene Snell – Episode 7
These deaths are the most shocking in season 4. It’s almost the “Red Wedding” moment in GoT. At the same time, audiences should have seen this coming, as it was pre-empted from the first episode when Javi asked Wendy and Marty Byrde to tell Darlene, Wyatt, and Ruth to stop producing heroin.
Despite plenty of events happening since then, it appears that Javi has an excellent memory. As episode 7 marks the closure of part 1, Javi heads to Darlene’s home. Darlene and Wyatt have just got married, so what happens next brings a sad undertone to the whole event.
When Darlene and Wyatt get home, Javi is waiting for them. He reminds them that he told them to stop producing heroin. Before Darlene and Wyatt can respond, Javi coldly shoots them both dead.
Don’t mess with the Navarro cartel.
