The weekend K-Drama spot on Netflix has been heavily competed on the streaming service for the last couple of years. It’s the prime time spot, and with the K-Drama industry growing on streaming services, we can expect more strong weekly shows blessing the fans. Bulgasal: Immortal Souls season 1 finishes on February 6, 2022, so fans will be wondering one thing.
Premise
The story follows an immortal man who has become intertwined with a woman who voyages on a cycle of death and reincarnation. The series has received plenty of praise, and at Ready Steady Cut, we’ve given every episode an average of four stars.
Will there be a season 2 of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls?

So far, there is no confirmation that there will be a season 2 of the K-Drama series Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. We are not surprised. The K-Drama world and Netflix are always highly secretive regarding their renewals, unlike other streaming services (i.e., Amazon with their massive statement on The Wheel of Time).
However, we can take optimism in the fact that K-Drama continues to grow on Netflix, and the explosion of Squid Game certainly helped the cause (see All of Us Are Dead, for example). The K-Drama industry is full of stars, so contracts and availability are a big deal; however, if Bulgasal: Immortal Souls gathers the watch hours, then there’s no reason it cannot be blessed with a season 2. There are many weekly K-Drama series that have not been renewed or are still pending an update, so we’d say the chance is relatively low. We can only wait and see.
