The Boys Presents: Diabolical season 1, episode 5 recap
A new girl is in town and her friends (Nicole Byer and Grey Griffin) are playing her for a bitch. Sky (voiced by Awkwafina) is that new girl, and she has had a rough go of it. Her only friends let her hang out with them because she has a cell phone, and she will be the frontman to buy them drugs. When they pressure her to score some chronic from a Russian Dreg Dealer (voiced by Seth Rogen), they push her into the car, where her head bounces off the back door.
The dealer has her sit in the front seat to do the deal. As they drive around, he sees a giant billboard of The Deep (Chase Crawford). He yells, “He found me!” He then crashes his car into a building. This causes Sky to fall into the back seat, where she spots a small vile containing a blue crystal. She grabs it and throws it in her pocket. The Dreg Dealer gives her the weed and throws her out of the car.
Sky gives them the weed, and they roll it into a tampon wrapper. She shows them Compound V, but they don’t care. They make her take a drag of the weed instead. After they tell her to take a deuce in the backyard if she needs to go to the bathroom, she goes home and takes the drug before falling asleep.
When she wakes up and uses the bathroom, her stomach talks to her, her belly demands to get out, and she lets one rip. On the floor is a piece of s**t with all sorts of stuff in it, including childhood memories of things she swallowed that never came out.
Oh, and some corn and hairs too.
Later, The Deep feeds the Dreg Dealer to his favorite shark before demanding Compound V go. All he knows is the girl who must have left with it had the body of Snoopy. Meanwhile, Sky tries to name her new BFF Georgia, but the little piece of s**t wants to be called Areola.
The following day, The Deep storms Sky’s room and wants to know what the f**k Sky is holding. They take her little turd and offer her a check for 1,000 dollars and a used iPad to buy her silence. She leaves but tears up the tab and storms the Vought tower to save her.
When Sky hits a scientist over the head with the iPad, she grabs Areola. What does she do? Well, to save her, she flushes her down the toilet. She rescues her in the sewer, but The Deep finds them. But Areola reminds her that SHE is the strong one. Even the special one. Not to mention the tough one, and all of those have been inside her all along.
Yes, her power is she controls s**t. And she raises her turd friends and attacks The Deep with her special powers. It’s just so beautiful.
She tells her old friends off and plays with her new ones. I count at least 18 little pieces of s**t in her bedroom.
