As we expect to see, Doug has shady dealings with the mob as they deliver his magazines. The first copy of Minx upsets Vince, the head of the mob. Doug and Joyce go to rectify things, but Joyce gets shunned again for being a woman. Will Doug and Joyce’s relationship continue to grow? Will Joyce’s new approach to Doug work? What is up with Tina?

Minx has hit newsstands and some places are being so receptive to it being on their shelves. We hear that sales are not great and some of the distributors are sending back the magazine. Doug put A LOT of money into the launch of Minx and he is trying not to lose his mind. He disperses everyone to different places to put Minx on the map.

Joyce pays a visit to Glen, who was at the press conference, and saved her from losing it on the stage. She wants to use him and his resources to help with the magazine. While this happens, Bambi and Shelly are out to hand free copies to women at grocery stores. Richie (played by Oscar Montoya, who I haven’t raved enough about) is off doing his part that turns into a photo shoot.

Things quickly turn for the worse for everyone trying to get Minx on the map. First, we see Bambi and Shelly end up in jail and this moment kind of reminds Shelly maybe she is in over her head. Next, we see Joyce and Glen at the college, which starts well until the women’s rights protest group confronts Joyce. A protest ensues in front of the school and leads to mass chaos, including a bible hitting Glen right in the face. Finally, with chaos erupting and Doug failing to get the stores back on board, Tina tells Doug about her true feelings about Minx.

Tina calls out Doug for Minx and says she has been there for him repeatedly, but she is tired of keeping her mouth shut about this project being an utter disaster. She lets him know that if they don’t cut their losses, they will burn their entire company to the ground.

Glen is bleeding, and Joyce tries to put things on the mend legally and morally. She always wants Glen to comfort her, but Doug takes a match and sets the magazines on FIRE while this happens. What does this mean for the future of Minx? I don’t know, but they have my full attention.
