Official Premise: When a knight in a futuristic, medieval world is framed for a crime he didn’t commit, the only one who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona – a mischievous teen who happens to be a shapeshifting creature he’s sworn to destroy.

1. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (2022)

Objectively, this is one of the best animated features that Netflix has ever produced, and it’s because of the immaculate detail of the stop-motion animation. It’s gorgeous, fluid, and tells the most human story about grief that can resonate with anyone.

Official Premise: A father’s wish magically brings a wooden boy to life in Italy, giving him a chance to care for the child.
