Jewish Matchmaking takes a similar format and looks at the quest for love in the Jewish community.
The Netflix show follows the story of Jewish singles from across the US and Israel who have entered the production to find love. The series comes from the same company that produced Indian Matchmaking, so we are in good hands.
The hopeful singles presented to us are aided by matchmaker Aleeza Ben Shalom, who has a similar role to Sima Taperia from Indian Matchmaking.
Aleeza is no slouch when it comes to the dating world. The coach has had a lot of experience in this field and has appeared on various shows. She has a website dedicated to the subject and launched her podcast called The Yentas.
The reality series dropped on Netflix on May 3rd, 2023, and so far, it has a very average rating on IMDB at 5.5/10. However, that rating might increase as more people discover the show. The season comprises eight episodes that run for around thirty minutes each.
There seems to be a bone of contention surrounding many of these types of programs, and that is the loose ends that are often left.

At the time of writing, Netflix has not yet confirmed a second season. There is no official confirmation on a second outing for this show, but don’t despair yet, dating fans.
Indian Matchmaking managed to get three seasons, so at this early stage, we are hoping that the show may get a green light sometime soon.
It takes a while for all the relevant information on a show to get processed by the renewal gods at Netflix, so until they receive the watch time and reviews, no official statement will be made.
