We discuss 10 TV Shows like Rabbit Hole you must watch. Add these well-recommended series to your watch list.

Kiefer Sutherland is back on television in this new series from Paramount Plus. John Weir (Sutherland) is a private espionage operative who battles over preserving democracy in a world constantly at odds.

Okay, it does sound a little familiar, but this is where Sutherland truly shines. He has a couple of series under his belt where he plays a spy or a government agent, which is almost always engaging. Paramount Plus was smart to cast him in this series because of the huge fanbase that he brings with him, i.e., Jack Baur.

The series on this list below have all been praised by audiences, and most of them have had a long run on television which is always important. Now, streaming services don’t have the same opportunity to create that longevity, so hopefully, Rabbit Hole sticks.

10 TV Shows like Rabbit Hole you must watch

24 (2001)

Jack Baur (Kiefer Sutherland) was a household name for almost a decade. He was a counter-terrorism agent who raced against the close to subvert terrorist plots and save his nation from ultimate disaster. It is one of the longest-running shows, and audiences never tire of the clock.

The Americans (2013)

Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys pose as the average American couple at the height of the Cold War, but they are secretly Russian spies. The series has plenty of twists, and because it was on FX, they were able to push the boundary and go for it. No character was safe, and it made for a compelling series.

Homeland (2011)

Similar to 24, Homeland was on for a very long time. You were either a fan of it on Showtime, or you saw that they kept winning awards at the Emmys. Claire Danes stars as a bipolar CIA operative who is convinced a prisoner of war has been turned by al-Qaeda and is planning to carry out a terrorist attack on American soil.

Bodyguard (2018)

Many know Richard Madden from Game of Thrones, but it wasn’t until his role in The Bodyguard that audiences started to take him seriously as an actor. This is a contemporary thriller featuring the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London’s Metropolitan Police Service.

Reacher (2022)

In this Amazon Original, Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher. It is based on the book by Lee Child, and it is an action-packed thriller. Reacher was arrested for murder, and now the police need his help.

The Blacklist (2013)

James Spader has always had an amazing voice and used it well in The BlacklistA new FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), has her entire life uprooted when a mysterious criminal, Raymond Reddington (Diego Klattenhoff), who has eluded capture for decades, turns himself in and insists on speaking only to her.

The Night Agent (2023)

This Netflix series brought audiences together the weekend this dropped. Low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) works in the basement of the White House manning a phone that never rings. One night, it does, bringing him into an underground world he wasn’t unprepared for.

He uncovers a conspiracy leading to the Oval Office, putting him in a dangerous situation.

Prison Break (2005)

In 2005, Prison Break started out as a great concept in the first four seasons, and then they expanded. Due to a political conspiracy, an innocent man is sent to death row, and the only one who can help him is his brother.

This cast was perfect, and all worked together exceptionally well to make this one of the most underappreciated series ever. His brother’s mission is to get himself into the same prison to break them out from the inside.

Alias (2001)

From director J.J. Abrams comes an international spy like no other. Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) was recruited out of college to be and remained for espionage and self-defense. She adapted quickly and could change her persona no matter what the agency needed during a mission.

Tehran (2020)

In this Apple TV Plus series, a Mossad agent embarks on her first mission as a sa computer hacker in her hometown of Tehran. First, it’s important to see different agencies, and second, it’s amazing to see a female-led spy series.
