As far as the success of reality TV shows goes, none have been as successful and well-loved as Queer Eye and in season 7, a tribute card was shown on screen at the end of the seventh episode, making fans of the show have been asking questions about Jemell M. Nelson. As an avid watcher of the show, I deep-dived into this dedication and collated as many answers as I possibly could about Jemell.

Who was Jemell M. Nelson?

Jenell was a production assistant on season seven of the reality makeover show. He hailed from  New Orleans, Louisiana, and had studied Pre-Med Biology at the University of New Orleans.

Jemell also worked on Love and Marriage: Huntsville Season 3, another reality show that featured three couples, determined to reinvent Huntsville, Alabama, through their real estate ventures.

Jemell was only thirty-one years old when he was killed.

What does Jemell M. Nelson’s obituary say?

An obituary published by The Boyd Family Funeral Home would give details of Jemell’s family. Also included were the dates and times for the ceremonies arranged for Jemell, including a Life Celebration Service held on December 2nd, 2022, at The Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans.

Internment followed at The Garden of Memories Cemetery, and as there were still COVID-19 restrictions in place, attendees were all asked to wear masks.
