It is early college acceptance at Sherman Oaks on Never Have I Ever, and Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) is ready to discover the big news she was accepted to Princeton. However, things don’t go as planned, leading to a major confrontation with her best friend.
Never Have I Ever Season 4 Episode 6 Recap
It’s early decision day, and Devi will find out if she will get into Princeton. While her mother tries to convince her that things will be okay no matter what happened today, Devi walks into school, and Ben tells her that someone from Sherman Oak has been accepted into Princeton.
Who was accepted into Princeton?
As Devi sat down with her mom to find out if she had been accepted, the application came back “deferred,” meaning that Fabiola was the one from Sherman Oak that is going to Princeton as we see the congratulations on her acceptance on her computer.
Devi begins to investigate who was the person that got her spot at Princeton. After announcing that she wanted to end the person who stole her spot, Fabiola told Eleanor about her getting in, and she said to keep it away from Devi as long as possible.
How does Devi find out Fabiola got into Princeton?
With Devi trying to spruce her resume for Princeton, she becomes the men’s swimming team equipment manager. The coach tells her to head out and get the Speedos out of his car. The acceptance BBQ is happening as she gets them out of the trunk. She realizes she can find out who the snake is. She spots Fabiola and confronts her, and her name pops on the screen, saying Fabiola Torres accepted at Princeton, and Devi freaks out and walks away.

Ben heads to support his girlfriend Margot at her art show. At the show, she butt-dials him and overhears a guy saying that Ben gave Urkel energy. Margot followed by saying that their relationship wasn’t serious at all. The following day, Ben reveals that he heard what she said and needed to be with someone who didn’t think that low of him.
After Paxton brings Devi back down to earth, she and Fabiola make up, apologizing for how they handled the whole thing. Eleanor is excited to see the two of them back together again, but she breaks some news to them that she is graduating in two days.
As a result, Fabiola and Devi will have to do the spring semester alone.
Never Have I Ever Season 4 Episode 6 Ending Explained
Nalini apologizes to Devi for feeling like she didn’t believe in her.
However, she breaks down that she has lived life and wants to protect her from the possibility of failure. Ben approaches her at school to share some empathy towards not getting into Princeton.
When Devi brings up what Ben and Margot did to celebrate him getting into Columbia, he tells her they broke up, leaving an intrigued look on her face as the episode ends.
