In this film, a group of strangers at a dusty roadside diner come under attack by demonic forces, their only chance for survival lies with an archangel named Michael, who informs a pregnant waitress that her unborn child is humanity’s last choice.

It’s important to note that some of these have become cult classics because of how badly they scored with everyone. And as time has gone on, people have learned to appreciate these films.

Do not mistake this one for the horror film Gretel and Hansel because that one is scarier than this fantasy horror. Brother/sister duo Hansel and Gretel are professional witch-hunters who help innocent villagers.
One day they stumble upon a case that could hold the key to their past. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton are surprisingly good in this film.
Hellboy (2019)
People were against the Hellboy remake with David Harbour, but it worked well. Caught in between the worlds of the supernatural and human, Hellboy battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge. It’s funnier than previous films and Harbour brings something different to the role.
Dracula Untold (2014)
The story of Dracula has been told time and time again, but this film shows a different side of the vampire we all know. As his kingdom is being threatened by the Turks, a young prince Vlad Tepes must become a monster feared by his own people in order to obtain the power needed to protect everyone.
Daybreakers (2009)
This 2009 sci-fi horror is unique and under-appreciated. There is a plague in the year 2019 that transformed every human into a vampire. Reading the synopsis now, it’s a bit uncanny. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival. However, there are some vamps on the side to save humankind with a researcher.
Underworld (2003)
Kate Beckinsale was incredible as Selene, a vampire warrior who is deeply involved in a conflict between vampires and werewolves. While fighting, she falls in love with a human who is sought by werewolves for unknown reasons.
Resident Evil (2002)
Milla Jovovich also made a name for herself with this franchise. A special military unit fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident. The franchise has had multiple installments and even more video games as well.
Blade (1998)
Wesley Snipes isn’t known for being one of Marvel’s first superheroes on screen, but he should be. He plays a half-vampire, a half-mortal man who becomes a protector of the mortal race while slaying evil vampires.
World War Z (2013)
If you’re into zombies, Marc Forster’s World War Z is one for the books. Former United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) traverses the world in a race against time to stop a zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatens to destroy humanity itself. The VFX work is possibly the most impressive aspect of this because of the work with the zombies.
Alien vs. Predator (2004)
This is one of the weaker installments in the franchise but it is still a good time. During an archaeological expedition in Antarctica, a team of archaeologists and other scientists find themselves caught up in a battle between the two legends.
