The reality game show has its roots in cooking, so there is a huge audience out there for the series and other shows of this nature. The first season, which you can watch on Netflix, dropped in March of 2022 and did so well that it was quickly recommissioned.
The premise of the show actually has its origin in a meme that became hugely entertaining on TikTok and YouTube.

Is It Cake, Too? (Season 2) has once again embraced the premise and presented us with some fascinating cakes, some of which are almost indiscernible from the real-life item they are imitating.
It seems that sugar and icing can be made to look like anything, and I am looking forward to future seasons where contestants have to recreate people from their lives made of cake and then have to decide whether they want the cake version or the real one back in their lives.
I joke, of course, but honestly, some of these cakes look like they have been 3D printed.

The winner of Season 2 was Elizabeth Rowe. Elizabeth won a total of ninety thousand dollars during her time on the show. This was made up of a seventy-five thousand dollar winner’s prize, plus three individual episode wins, making the grand total up.
The British award-winning wedding cake maker was overwhelmed by the result.

Elizabeth runs her own Texas-based business called The London Baker, which specializes in bringing a taste of the UK to American customers.
Although Elizabeth tends to let her cake creations shine on her social media pages, we did notice that she was married in April 2023 to her long-term partner Cody Daniel.

The competition would end up with Elizabeth London, Miko Kaw Hok Uy, and Spirit Wallace as the finalists. Spirit was the first to go, leaving Elizabeth and Miko to go against each other.
