Day Shift is a 2022 film directed by J. J. Perry and stars Jamie Foxx. He plays Bud Jablonski, a father who has a boring job as a pool cleaner trying to provide for his daughter. But this is just a front for his real job, where he goes out to hunt vampires. This is made difficult not only because Bud has to fight the undead but also because of union politics.

Hollywood loves to make movies about the undead, be it vampires, zombies, or any other fantastical nightmare that they can conjure up, and while some of them are terrifying, others manage to explore different genres, including comedy and romance. Here are ten movies, like Day Shift, that aim to give the undead a different look.

Blade (1998)

Blade (Wesley Snipes) is a half-human half-vampire and wants to rid the world of vampires before they take over the human race. To do this, he becomes a professional vampire hunter, trying to stop the undead nightmares from summoning the evil God La Magra.
