John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
We begin with hearing Beth talk about moving to Long Island because it was safe. Shortly after moving there, she met a man, they got engaged, and she thought it was forever. However, one day she came home and caught him cheating with another woman.
One night while she was sleeping, Beth got a phone call from a strange number during which the person stated they would “jam themselves down her throat.” She hung up on the caller and went back to bed like it was nothing. Days later, she received another call, and the man stated, “I’m going to chop your head off.” Beth began to take the calls seriously.
What does the stalker send to Beth to frighten her?
As Beth was about to leave work a strange man showed up to the job, and she thought it was the stalker. When Beth hit the man with a fire extinguisher, he fell to the ground, but it was her ex-fiance. She got in her car and got a text message, and it was a picture of the stalker’s penis inside her car next to the steering wheel.
The stress of the stalker started to take a massive toll on Beth. Her coworkers saw her mental health deteriorate, and she began to make wild accusations at other coworkers about them being the stalker. The cop assigned to her case wasn’t helpful and even acted out of line in his attempt to “help her” by texting her at all hours of the day.
