A Nearly Normal Family is a dark study of secrets. lies and murder that has viewers gripped and traumatized in equal measures. We follow the Sandell family, torn apart when daughter Stella is arrested after the death of her boyfriend. The parents are desperate to help, but their work life and lack of connection with each other only exasperate the situation, as events start to spiral out of control. Based on the book by M.T. Edvardsson, who also worked on the show, the story twists and turns, slowly revealing a series of terrible revelations, and arguably, at the heart of the issue is Robin. The following feature will contain heavy spoilers for the series, so if you have not watched it yet, tread carefully.
Who is Robin in A Nearly Normal Family?
In the very first episode of the series, the young Stella, only fifteen, is sexually assaulted while she is at a residential handball camp. The assault is perpetrated by the character Robin, who is a coach at the sports school. Although Stella tells her parents about the horrific incident, they decide not to take it any further, as they reason that the subsequent investigation and court case would cause more harm than good.

This terrible lapse in judgment is layered throughout the series, with its repercussions becoming deeply entrenched in Stella and her parents. It is four years later, and Stella has met Chris on her nineteenth birthday and entered into a relationship with him. However a month and a half later he has been murdered, stabbed to death, and Stella is the only lead they seem to be pursuing.
Who plays Robin in A Nearly Normal Family?
The part of Robin is played by Christoffer Willén.
Christoffer Willén is a Swedish actor born in Ystad, Skåne. His career started at Calle Flygare Theatre School, but previously he achieved his Master in Law at Stockholm University.

What is Christoffer Willen known for?
Willen does not have a lot of screen time to relay to you, but here are the productions he featured in before appearing in A Nearly Normal Family.
After a few shorts from 2019 onwards, he would land a role in five episodes of the TV series Heder in 2022. The same year he would get a job in an episode of another series called The Playlist, and then, seemingly on a good run, he would land the role of the despicable Robin in A Nearly Normal Family.
At the time of writing, he is scheduled to appear in another series called Nalsogat, where he plays a character called Robban. The show is in post-production.
