Summary
I am not always a fan of cookie-cutter endings, but Letterkenny’s finale is the perfect end to one of the funnier series of our time.
After twelve seasons of over-the-top, wild jokes, Jared Keeso and his team bid fans farewell. We get a proper sendoff in Episode 6 of Letterkenny Season 12. With their backs against the wall, Wayne and the crew pull out the drastic measures to save their friend Daryl. As this happens, Stewart and Roald are planning something big for the town of Ontario. It’s a cookie-cutter ending, but in a good way, amounting to a perfect end for the long-running Hulu comedy.
Letterkenny Season 12 Episode 6 Recap
How did Wayne save Daryl from the Degens?
The episode picks up right where we left off, with Wayne and his crew setting up a plan to rescue Daryl from the Degens. The guys distract the Degens by setting off fireworks as they make their move to get to Daryl. This leads to the guys coming in and beating up the Degens like they have many times in the past.
We get a big recap of the fight between Wayne’s crew and the Degens, where we see them pick them off one by one. Finally, Wanye is able to get his hands on Mick, giving him one big sock right in the jaw.
Jonesy and Reilly head over to Wayne and Daryl’s place to tell them they “respect them.” It doesn’t go as the guys planned as Wayne and Daryl tell them they don’t care and proceed to hit them with insult after insult.
What are Stewart and Roald planning for the city?
Stewart and Roald spent time trying to figure out their next move, whether it was rehashing the Fartbook or even the F*ckbook, but neither of those ideas checked the box. So, ultimately, they pitch the idea to Wayne and the crew to have a Rave at the Aeghall.
Although Wayne says they can hold the Rave at the Aeghall, the entire crew says they don’t plan on attending. Stewart and Roald prepare for the party. Their biggest concern is nobody will show up to the big Rave. Either way, they set up in hopes that the town will show up for them.
It’s the night of the big party, and Stewart and Roald have everything set up and ready to rock and roll. Sadly, nobody shows up, and the duo breaks down and cries. However, amid the tears, Wayne knocks at the window, informing them that the door is locked and nobody can get in.
How does Letterkenny Season 12 end?
Once everyone enters the Aeghall, we see the town living it up and partying like there is no tomorrow. As Wayne stares at the portrait of photos set up at the party, Lily walks up and joins him as the camera pans away one last time, showing the important buildings of the small town in Ontario.
