Letterkenny is back, but sadly, for its 12th and final season on Hulu. The six-episode final season follows our favorite people in the small town of Ontario dealing with new things, including a new nightclub, a comedy night at MoDean’s, and a hit country music song. Below is our full recap of Letterkenny Season 12, though as you will have guessed, it contains major spoilers for every episode.
Letterkenny Season 12 Recap
Episode 1: “Live at MoDean’s”
After some ladies perform stand-up comedy at MoDean’s, the crew decides that they are going to give stand-up comedy a try.
When Wayne hits the stage, he bombed because he attempted to converse with the crowd. However, he had to watch Dan and Daryl hit the stage and kill. Both had the crowd laughing out loud, but Daryl shocked the world with his stand-up. They are all upstaged by Katy, who roasts the crowd, and everyone laughs except Daryl, who has a massive issue with some of the jokes she hit him with.
The afterparty gets intense, with Daryl giving a death stare to Katy while Wayne tries to beat up a drunk for bumping into Rosie.
Episode 2: “Sun Darts”
As the crew sits around chatting it up, Jimmy Dickens arrives to announce that he plans to pursue a career in country music. While the team sets up the music video for Jimmy, Daryl meets Harley, who has heard big things about his stand-up routine and wants to hang out with him. Shortly after arriving at this party, Daryl discovers that Harley is Mick’s sister.
Finally, after spending some time with the crew making the music video, Jimmy Dickens shares his first-ever country music song/video titled “Sun Darts.”
Episode 3: “I’m a Degen”
Rosie is visiting Vancouver and calls Wayne to discuss what has been happening back home. Amid the conversation, she talks about how much she loves Vancouver and asks Wayne if he’d consider moving there with her. Wayne asked if she’d consider moving, and she pushed back, maybe putting the idea of them living there.
Harley and Daryl’s relationship continues to grow, but her friends and family aren’t happy about that because of Daryl’s history of calling them Degens. For him to cement his place amongst the crowd, they force Daryl to say he is a Degen to the camera, and he does.
Episode 4: “Snooters”
While Rosie is in Vancouver, Wayne is struggling with what he is going to do. He hangs out with Bonnie, who talks about Mexico and how she wishes to move down there, but her man doesn’t want to. Of course, this hits home for Wayne with her wanting to move to Vancouver.
Speaking of moving to Mexico, Katy is thinking about heading south, and Jonesy and Reilly decide to make a move to show her the good of staying and not leaving them. She was smitten by the jester, but she informed the boys she wasn’t moving to Mexico, only flirting with the idea because she felt stuck.
Because he made a video saying he was a Degen, Daryl has found himself on the outs with the family. Wayne and the crew combine to get him out of Degen’s grasp. Upon arriving, Wayne waits in the wings as Daryl tells Harley he can’t do this anymore, but she and her brother try to convince him otherwise.
Episode 5: “Stuck”
Regardless of his feelings, Daryl tells Wayne that he is very happy being with the Degens. Wayne tries to talk to him about it, but Daryl reassures him that he is satisfied because people listen to him and laugh at his jokes.
Amid his frustration, Wayne calls Rosie to express this to her, and she tells him that the grass is greener where she is. He admits to being stuck, and she knows that he is stuck and that he is there for everyone all the time. Wayne says he might as well stay stuck, and the phone begins to break up, but Rosie says, “We are breaking up, cowboy.” This insinuates the end of the two’s relationship.
At the party with the Degens, Daryl realizes things aren’t going where he wants them to go. He informs everyone he has to leave, but they tell him to stay. However, the episode ends with Wayne and the crew coming to save him from the Degens.
Episode 6: “Over and Out”
We get a massive montage of how Wayne and the crew saved Daryl from the Degens. First, they set off fireworks to distract them. Next, they used the distraction to start punching them. Finally, Wayne was able to sock Mick right in the mouth one last time for what he had done.
Stewart and Roald wanted to plan one big blowout rave at the Aeghall. So they approached Wayne and the crew to ask them for permission, which they did, but everyone told them they weren’t coming to the party.
After working hard to throw the Rave, Stewart, and Roald get upset because nobody shows up to the party. However, Wayne knocks at the door, saying it is locked and nobody can get in. We get one last party with our favorite crew of Letterkenny highlighting shots of the infamous places in the small town.
