Invincible Season 2 Episode 7 will likely follow up a couple of new threads introduced in Episode 6, with Allen the Alien and Nolan’s proper debut in this half of the show. Allen wishes to find Nolan and — if there’s an opportunity to — save him, as he might be another Viltrumite ally.
On Earth, love is all around, as heroes and humans alike attempt to figure out where their love lives can go in the middle of their duties to protect the world. It’s something Mark is already struggling to find the balance for. Audiences can only hope the others can fare better.

Will Allen the Alien try to find Nolan?
With the secrets of Nolan’s sci-fi books, Allen the Alien will likely return to Thaedus and explain their significance to him. Allen the Alien will likely plead with Thaedus to find and save Nolan, out of friendship for Mark but also to try and turn him to their cause. The next episode might see the beginnings of this, and Allen might himself seek out the Viltrumite prison to try and rescue Nolan. Now Nolan has been reintroduced to the show, he’ll likely get more screen time.
Of course, the Viltrumites intend to execute Nolan, so Allen will have to act fast to get to him. This could result in a fight scene where Allen puts those muscles to use, seeing if he really can stand toe to toe with a Viltrumite. As to whether Nolan will join Allen, it’s clear that Nolan is considering where his loyalties lie, but it’s unlikely he’ll want to join the full fight against the Viltrumites just yet. Another reunion with Mark might convince him of that, but that will likely happen towards the end of the season.
Love could be in the air in Episode 7
Rex Splode manages to survive his entanglement with King Lizard but still ends up in the hospital. Atom Eve is very upset about his injuries, and when he recovers a bit she regularly visits him to bring home decoration magazines. She gives him a loving stare as she reads them. For Rex’s part, he confides in Mark how he wishes he was a better person treating women better. It’s something that’s likely going to be a goal for him in the future.
So will Atom Eve get back with Rex? It’s a possibility. While she’s embarrassed about Rex being her first boyfriend while talking to Amber, after Rex gets out of the hospital and starts to work on himself, she might attempt to try and rekindle a relationship with him. She’s seen how much the superhero identity can get in the way of a relationship between a powered person and a normal human with Mark and Amber’s struggling relationship, and Eve would probably like to avoid that for herself.
Robot/Rudy and Amanda
Another superpowered couple with super issues is Robot/Rudy and Amanda. Rudy keeps trying to solve her de-aging curse every time Amanda hulks up, but Amanda is over him trying to “fix” her. It’s only natural for Rudy to try to do this — he, more than most, is unable to understand that not everything is a problem to be fixed. In other words, he needs to stop behaving like a robot. This is a lesson he’ll need to learn quickly, or else Amanda might break things off from him completely. Though if this were to happen, at least he would learn what the feeling of despair and loss is.
Amber and Mark
To touch on the main couple, Amber and Mark, future episodes will see them continue to try and balance their time with each other and Mark’s superhero life. Eve and Art have reminded them to cherish the time they spend together, even if it’s not a lot, so now that there’s no immediate psycho threatening to end all life on Earth, Amber and Mark might be able to steal a moment together. Episode 7 might see them trying to have a nice date, only to have it interrupted as is the cycle. Somewhere Mark and Amber will have to figure out a compromise to their situation, as it’s clear they can’t go on as they are.
Invincible is a show that’s hard to predict, so it’s hard to imagine what might happen next. Angstrom Levy is seemingly the overarching threat of the show, but he’s yet to make his presence felt. The next episode will likely start to show his evil plans for the multiversal, and how he wants to get back at Mark for killing all his variants. With the vulnerable state Amber is in, he might attempt to hold her hostage to force Invincible to him, or attack Mark’s superhero friends, or even his mom and brother. With the current state of the Guardians of the Globe, any attack made by him would be devastating.
Invincible Season 2 Episode 7 Release Date and Where to Watch
Invincible Season 2 Episode 7 will be released on Prime Video on Thursday, March 28. The release time is unknown but the episode is titled “I’m Not Going Anywhere”.
