Dempsey Pillot joined Ready Steady Cut in May 2021, and he is an entertainment critic and content producer with extensive experience with written reviews and interviews. As well as being a loving full-time father, husband, and confessed cinephile, Dempsey is an Assignment Editor at Spectrum News NY1, a local news network covering New York City.

But Dempsey’s work does not stop there; he vows to use his many talents to dominate the world. He’s the Editor-in-Chief of The DisInsider, which aims to bring exclusive news from Disney, and he provides insightful reviews and interviews at Cinefied, FilmSpeak, and 1010 WINS.

Dempsey has many aspirations and hopes that one day, he can make his own film. We’ll be the first to review it when he does (fingers crossed!)
