January 29 2025

Episode 11, “The Sauna at the End of the Stairs”, could go either way. It isn’t like the previous episode, which just seemed to pivot to a different genre entirely, but it has a similar try-hard quality that I found off-putting.

‘Prime Target’ Episode 3 Recap – Just as Unlikeable, But Now Also Boring

January 29 2025

Episode 3, “The Sequence”, rids itself of the advantage of Taylah’s charisma and energy by saddling her with Ed, as the two of them are forced on the run together.

‘Paradise’ Season 1, Episode 3 Recap – Hulu’s Thriller Continues to Deliver Game-Changing Twists

‘Watson’ Season 1, Episode 1 Recap – Turns Out Watson Isn’t Very Interesting Without Sherlock

January 28 2025

CBS is hoping the Sherlock well hasn’t run dry after Elementary, but crucially that show had Holmes in it. The premiere of Watson opens with his apparent demise after a tumble down a waterfall in pursuit of James Moriarty (who else?).

January 26 2025

The most interesting thing that happens in Episode 4 of Mayfair Witches Season 2 happens at the very end, and then “Double Helix” ends before doing anything with it.

‘When the Stars Gossip’ Episode 7 Recap – A Drastic Climax Might Be Just What This K-Drama Needs

January 25 2025

It’s the script, isn’t it? I think that’s what’s irking me about When the Stars Gossip. We’re on Episode 7 now and the K-Drama still hasn’t really improved in any meaningful sense.

‘Shafted’ Ending Explained – French Comedy Doesn’t Take the Easy Way Out

‘Shafted’ Review – A Surprisingly Funny Exploration of Masculinity, Romance, and Friendships

January 24 2025

We’ve seen a lot of shows like Shafted, especially on platforms like Netflix. The French comedy series is a knockabout exploration of masculinity, especially the...
