Summary
Cargo problems are afoot for the Lynwood’s in ZeroZeroZero Season 1, Episode 4, as Emma and Chris need a solution and fast.

ZeroZeroZero Season 1, Episode 4 is a high-octane start as usual — there are young teenagers picking up pure cocaine from wide trucks in Monterrey, Mexico. They take it to a drug sorting hub and one of the young boys is asking to get on with his work rather than trying to charm one of the young women. He picks up money from the store; meanwhile, military men are scoping the streets while he walks home in the rain and the dark. He suddenly realises he has been identified and he starts running, hopping from rooftop to rooftop until he gets back on the ground again and hides under a vehicle.
After the coast is clear, he goes back to the drug den but the military was following him and they infiltrate. Manuel tells the cartels that from now on, drug dealings have to be done via the Firm — he makes his speech while video recording it for social media. At the end of the video, he executes someone as a warning.
ZeroZeroZero has a habit of good starts.
After he sends out his warning, Manuel goes to pay respect to a wife of one the military men he killed who was deemed a “mile”. The wife tells Manuel that her dead husband respected him and wonders how he let anyone make rumors about him. The wife confides in Manuel, calling him a good man. You can see it written all over his face the guilt that weighed on him at this moment.
The second half of ZeroZeroZero Season 1, Episode 4 sees Chris still on the ship and it is raining heavily — he tries to explain to the Senegalese officials the situation of his ship but they want papers, and they want an extortionate amount of money. Also, he needs more drugs for his condition, but the pharmacy will not give him a prescription. A man tries to sort him out with an ailment, but Chris has Huntington’s disease, so it’s hardly going to help.
Chris is finally reunited with Emma in Episode 4, and she apologizes for what happened — they need to get the shipment back en route, it’s pretty vital at this point considering how the supply chain is at its highest tension. Emma vows to take care of it and wants to assure her cargo is delivered safely. In the middle of the night, Chris wakes up Emma all panicky as the police are coming. The scene goes slow motion and then a flashback is immediately shown of Emma saying she is going to take care of it.
At the end of ZeroZeroZero Season 1, Episode 4, Chris heads to a festival and he offers someone a “big payday” if they can deliver his shipment problem. While inspecting the shipments, the police turn up and we see the same scene of Chris alerting Emma at the hotel again. He tells Emma at the bar that he’s actually saving the shipment but she is fuming. Emma is alerted about a new ship that is available. In the back of a car, Emma asks Chris when the spasms start — he says he doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
Family eh, who’d have them.
