Following directly on from the previous episode, the MyDrugs operation is on the ropes thanks to two things: 1), that Lisa is now uncomfortably close to Moritz’s inexhaustible supply of drugs, and 2) that Moritz has lied to his accomplices about his relationship with the suppliers in Amsterdam. These two things immediately start overlapping in “Where Do You Want to Go Today?” as Daniel and Lenny insist on attending a meeting — Lenny while wearing a bulletproof vest — while Lisa texts Moritz relentlessly about cleaning his room while he’s out.
Fear in the room prompts Daniel to propose a new business strategy that is approved of by the suppliers but not by Moritz, who thinks he has been undermined as the CEO. Lenny continues to get closer to Kira in the meantime while Lisa enjoys a family Jenga night that is gatecrashed by Moritz’s mother. Moritz has a very complicated relationship with his mother, who wants to wrest their house right out from under them with a smile on her face all the while — but it’s a smile that’s turned upside-down when Lisa, Moritz, and Jens put up a united front. Sex, then, for everyone, including Lenny and Kira — sort of, anyway.
Honesty is the best policy in How to Sell Drugs Online Fast season 2, episode 2, but it’s a concept that Moritz is increasingly struggling with. Googling how to be honest with your girlfriend doesn’t help. His pontificating about contradictions includes a story about Leonardo DiCaprio taking a private plane to receive an award for environmentalism and a list of his ex-girlfriends. But it isn’t exactly an apples-to-apples comparison. Either way, he resolves to tell Lisa the truth, all while Lenny has already spilled far more to Kira than is advisable given she’s a stranger he met on the internet.
Attempts at honesty don’t go well for either Moritz or Lenny. Lenny researches some expensive but potentially life-extending therapy that might allow him another 15-20 years of life, and the potential for kids and even grandkids, which prompts Kira to request some space and leave. Moritz, meanwhile, sits Lisa down to tell her something important, but can’t quite make it the truth — he instead tells her he doesn’t love her anymore and tearfully walks away.
