“Buy It. Sell It. Love It.” opens with Moritz, Lenny, and Dan captives of Buba’s stab-happy mother and the rest of her clan. It only takes one or two knitting needles to the fleshy bit of the thigh — “this is so unhygienic!” — to get Moritz revealing everything, from the MyDrugs operation to Buba accidentally shooting himself with a 3D-printed gun. The Albanians want to shoot the boys anyway, but Moritz offers them 50,000 Euros and continuing business. So, they’re coke dealers as well now. You know how such things go.
We have the goal of How to Sell Drugs Online Fast season 2, episode 4, then: Moritz has to figure out how to convert Bitcoin into cash to pay off the Albanians, which prompts a lesson and a ridiculous string of theoretical cutaway scenes of Moritz explaining, to the audience, how the process might work. It’s great value to see the three lads debating their drug empire and their relationships on the bus home.
It’s funny how easily things like drug empires can be unravelled, especially when Jens brings home a dog for Marie that can also sniff out drugs. In the meantime, Daniel gets him, Moritz and Lenny an appointment at the bank with his mother to help facilitate their Bitcoin-to-cash transfer. There’s a lot going on at this point in “Buy It. Sell It. Love It.”, including MyDrugs getting bombarded with horrendous customer reviews while Moritz ignores Marlene’s phone calls.
After Marie’s new dog trashes the MyDrugs head office, Moritz and Lenny take it out into the woods to kill and bury it, which of course neither of them can go through with. But it’s a good bonding moment for the pair of them, who apologize to each other for their respective idiocy. But this also makes Moritz late for tutoring Daniel for his biology exam, and he arrives home to find both Jens and Lisa wanting to talk to him urgently.
At least things are going okay for Lenny. Kira arrives to apologize and they reconcile in their typically dorky, metaphorical way — she also agrees to help with their cash-conversion issues, on the proviso that she doesn’t tell Moritz she did so. Moritz, in fairness, has enough to worry about, since he has to fake a spiralling weed addiction to both his dad and Lisa in order to throw them off the scent of MyDrugs, which has become a federal case. But during the conversation, Lisa quite clearly pieces together the facts of what Morris is up to. She speeds off into the night to close out the episode.
