Now that the truth is out in “Move Fast and Break Things”, it turns out to be even more difficult to deal with than the lie was. First, Moritz has to spill all the beans to Lisa, just to confirm that she has worked things out correctly, which includes confessing his original motivation. She thinks he’s too smart to be wasting his talent on something like MyDrugs and insists he goes home and shut it down before he’s locked up forever — other than that she actually takes the news quite well.
But Moritz has to speed home since the GoodTimes ladies come to visit him in person and are having Black Forest Gateaux with Jens. They’re concerned about the state of MyDrugs and various copycat competitors who’re springing up and so propose a deal to Moritz: He can have an office in Rotterdam with all the employees he needs, but it’ll mean cutting out Lenny and Dan. He has three days to make a decision, which is the big ticking-clock device of How to Sell Drugs Online Fast season 2, episode 5.
Dan might cut himself out before any of that. He’s fuming with Moritz for not helping him with the biology exam — he left to pursue Lisa, meaning Dan couldn’t copy his answers — and has designs of his own, especially with his awful dad always breathing down his neck about being useless. He has a point to prove, although proving it is more difficult than it need be given his mother unwittingly controls all of MyDrugs’ finances.
Those finances, or at least 50,000 Euros of them, need delivering to Buba’s mother and the rest of the Albanians, none of whom are apparently Albanian, which makes for a pretty funny exchange. It also gets them on-side so that Moritz can ask them for a favour — they intimidate the school biology teacher so that Daniel gets a passing grade on his exam. He’s back on the mission of repairing MyDrugs’ reputation among its customers. Moritz chooses this moment to confess to Daniel and Lenny both about the Dutch offer and the fact that he made up their original deal and the threat against their lives. They throw him out of their head office, without much of a thought spared for the fact it’s his garage, and Lenny even gives him a backhand.
How to Sell Drugs Online Fast season 2, episode 5 ends with Moritz buzzing his hair Walter White style and heading out into the cornfields to hunt pigs with the not-Albanians. He winds up shooting Susi, Marie’s missing pooch. He returns with her to the office to find it empty; Dan and Lenny have left the group chat, and he can no longer log in to MyDrugs. When he removes his hat, it turns out he lied about his hair. But the rest of it, Moritz assures us, really happened.
