Summary
The drama all comes to a head as Kinsey becomes aware of who Gabe and Eden are. With barely a moment for Kinsey to tell her family, Gabe arrives at the Keyhouse. It’s the most decisive ending for Season 2 so far. It’ll be hard not to jump straight into the next episode to find out how the Lockes react to Gabe.

Locke & Key season 2, episode 5 recap
Aware that Gabe and Eden are up to something, Kinsey confronts Gabe about it. Although, he covers up well by claiming that Eden is failing at school and has asked Gabe to be her private tutor. She’s quick to believe him and soon tells Gabe about the current situation with Duncan.
Meanwhile, Bode uses the Anywhere Key and pays a visit to Rufus (Coby Bird), and Nina and Josh have a date in his dorm room. Whilst on the search for keys, Tyler hears whispering from beneath a bench. But, Gabe is unable to be coy as he becomes very pushy about being present when Tyler uses the new key. How Tyler didn’t realize that something was up with Gabe here is remarkable.
Whilst at a party, Eden beats everyone at arm wrestling whilst chugging a bottle of JD. Growing suspicious, Kinsey tries to catch Eden in a lie. It nearly doesn’t work; until Eden slips up and gets the subject that Gabe is tutoring her for wrong. With Scot keeping track from outside, Kinsey chats to an extremely drunk Eden alone in a room. Eden passes out, and so Kinsey takes the opportunity to use the Head Key.
Although Scot freaks out when he enters the room and finds two Edens, he quickly helps Kinsey search Eden’s mind. To their horror, they not only find out that Eden is a demon, but Gabe is Dodge. When they start being attacked by mannequins, Kinsey and Scot leave Eden’s mind.
The ending
Upon Kinsey learning that Gabe is on his way to the Keyhouse, she leaves Scot to look over Eden. Meanwhile, Duncan’s crisis gets fixed when Tyler and Bode stick a key in his neck, which helps him deal with the memories of magic. It’s a shame that there wasn’t more focus on Duncan’s struggles with the memories. Their moment of happiness gets abruptly ended when Kinsey arrives and tells them that Gabe is Dodge and that Eden is a demon. As they were previously under the impression that they threw Dodge into the black hole, they speculate who is actually in the black hole.
The doorbell rings. Gabe has arrived.
