The story follows Alice, who after a series of career mishaps and a broken love life, decides to put her hope into astrology after becoming friends with an astrologist. For the cynical, viewers will think Alice is mad, but for those who love methods of romance, there will be something endearing about Alice. The series flirts with the idea of Alice finally finding the love she deserves.

It feels very unlikely that this series will be renewed for a third season. Firstly, the second season feels conclusive, and unless the writers want to drag the story on, season 2 would be a natural conclusion.
However, if Netflix were to renew it, they’d base it on the watch hours. Clearly, season 1 impressed enough for the streaming service to give it another shot.
But, with season 2 concluding with the title screen “the end”, it seems this is closure for An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts, and we don’t think anyone will grumble.
