Summary

Episode 6 centers on Pi-young and Dong-ma as they journey through an intense meal with many courses. As we saw in the last episode, Dong-ma proposes to Pi-young in another random plot point in Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce). But why did he propose to her? Well, we find out.
Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) season 3, episode 6 recap
Episode 6 show Dong-ma proposing to Pi-young again, and he’s deadly serious. He claims he finds her electrifying after hearing her screaming at a clinic treatment room. Remember how he took Ga-bin to the theme park, and he did not seem moved by her screams. Well, it turns out Dong-ma judges a woman by how she wails. He tells Pi-young that since then, he’s wanted to embrace her. Pi-young obviously questions his intentions. It’s a random marriage proposal, after all, and she seems overwhelmed by the moment. However, she doesn’t leave the meal. She considers his wild reasoning for this proposal despite having no feelings at this point whatsoever. Dong-ma lays down his stake, stating they should at least start the dating process, which will lead to marriage.

After much conversation and persuasion, Dong-ma and Pi-young hold hands over the table. Dong-ma is clearly an intense man, and when he wants something, he goes after it. Much like his brother Seo Ban. He asks Pi-young to envision a committed married life. Surprisingly, Pi-young carries on the date, asking more about his life and past relationships. Dong-ma takes the conversation further and tells her he’d like to give her another child, a sibling to Ji-a. Pi-young becomes increasingly overwhelmed.
Eventually, the date softens, and Pi-young seems to enjoy his company. However, knowing that Dong-ma disapproves of his brother’s love for Si-eun, she tries convincing him of how great she is; her amazing singing, and how she’s a writer on the radio show. Afterward, Pi-young and her daughter enjoy the amusement park, and Ji-a watches them both from a distance while wearing what looks like a pirate outfit (a bit creepy). He makes sure they get home safe and sound by following their car.
The ending
As the episode ends, we see how Pi-young and Dong-ma feel the next day. In the morning, Pi-young meets Dong-ma in the parking lot, and he asks for a hug and states that he will be back in a month’s time. Initially, they don’t hug, but there’s an acknowledgment that they will continue this random adventure. However, Dong-ma shows how serious he is about her by running up to her, grabbing her, and giving her a passionate kiss. She reciprocates. This is undoubtedly the most random romantic storyline so far.
