It feels like there will be a season 4, which will annoy some viewers but will delight some fans. We are now in the finale weekend of season 3, and this series shows no sign of slowing down towards a conclusion, but let’s see.
Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) season 3, episode 15 recap
Episode 15 opens with Si-eun holding her stomach, believing she is pregnant. But she has not got time to think about her future as the newlyweds arrive at the house, Dong-ma and Pi-young. Later in the evening, Si-eun researches how soon she can take a pregnancy test. Later on, she takes a test, and she is pregnant. She debates whether she can healthily experience pregnancy, especially with her age.
Seeing dancing on the TV, Dong-mi decides to have a sensually-implied dance with Yu-sin, but it’s hardly surprising at this point — their strange relationship has been part of this series since the beginning. Dong-mi’s wild personality changes continue. A-mi continues to be afraid of her and is playing nice. She tries to record Dong-mi confessing to the murder of her husband, but it fails. Later on, when food is made for Dong-mi, she believes it is poisoned.
Hye-ryung slowly reverts to her previous personality after the exorcism, and Sa-hyeon’s parents notice it. The changes enter her marriage with Sa-hyeon, and they start intensely arguing as they used to. Hye-ryung packs her things, and accuses Sa-hyeon of trying to hit her in front of his parents. The parents convince her to stay.
Pi-young and Si-eun clash with the maids in the house about roles and responsibilities. Pi-young argues to the head maid that they are no longer guests of the house and are equally in charge of who makes orders, and she stands her ground. However, when the head maid speaks to the other maids, they want to start a revolution by all putting in their resignations together.
Hae-ryun and Ga-bin meet each other after Dong-mi sets each other up. They don’t realize they are each other’s date. But then the penny drops, and the pair catch up. Will they rekindle their romance?
Hye-ryung faints and ends up in hospital. When she wakes up, Hye-ryung is scared something will go wrong, and she’s emotional. Sa-hyeon’s mother tells her that losing a baby is a depressing time.
The maids all resign simultaneously, but surprisingly, Si-eun and Pi-young take it gracefully, which shocks them. This is a backfire. They messed with the wrong women.
The ending
A couple of things happen in the final moments of the penultimate episode of season 3.
Dong-mi tells A-mi and Yu-sin that her husband “clutched his heart” after A-mi tells her it is healthy to laugh. She admits to looking the other way after he glared in her eyes while having a heart attack. This is a confession for the first time to Yu-sin that she let his father die. Dong-mi then laughs intensely.
The ghost of Song Won sits next to Seo Ban at a retail store. She follows him everywhere. As the episode ends, the grim reapers appear again in front of Seo Ban, Dong-ma, Pi-young, and Si-eun. The ghost of Song Won is alarmed at what she sees. But who are they coming for? Who will die next in this bonkers series?
