Summary

A really good start from the YA series. The characters are great, and the story moves fast. Overall, it’s a big win for the audience, and they should be happy with this opening episode from season 2.

The first season of Fate: The Winx Saga was a pretty decent hit on Netflix, so fans will be hoping that’s the case with the second season. And for the audience eager to watch the show, the trailer has given them nothing but high hopes for the second season. Here’s everything that happened in Season 2 Episode 1.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

Ivy and Devin are making out in the woods when he feels a rush of disgust. When they start investigating, something takes control of Ivy and forces her to stab herself in the neck. When Devin tries to flee for his life, he is attacked by an unknown creature. After the credits play, Rosalind warns the student that they need to control their instincts. Bloom later learns that the search has been called off whilst getting told that the Otherworld is more dangerous than she knows. As they speak, Saul Silva, now in chains, is brought to his trial. Aisha tells Bloom that she wants to help join the search but fears it would be pointless.

Aisha bumps into Gray whilst out in the woods. But as she doesn’t want to cross paths, she tells him to schedule separate times to swim in the river. Sky and Dane battle against each other, with Dane coming out of time after he cuts Sky with a sword. Bloom and Sky make out afterward, and she pays close attention to his fresh wound. Soon enough, Bloom turns the conversation to Silva’s trial. Rosalind’s “little helper” Beatrice has a message; they are sending Silva to the frozen north, also known as a death sentence.

Sky has flashbacks of his dad, Andreas. With his mood still low, Bloom tries to comfort him. But Sky remarks that his Dad isn’t worth it. Elsewhere, acting as Rosalind’s lap dog, Andreas waits for Silva. Rosalind demands that Stella takes off her jacket and places an extremely painful device on her, with the very purpose being that it will keep Stella on school grounds and prevent her from using that magic of hers.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Episode 1 Ending

Later on in the episode, Bloom, Terra, Aisha, and Musa make plans to have Silva escape. Does the plan work? Well, despite shooting Silva with several arrows, he is still able to jump into a river. And after some magic allows him to hold his breath, it seems that he might be able to escape Andreas and his thugs. Back on campus, Rosalind threatens Sam, who openly discusses his dislike of her when he is with his Dad. With Silva safely away from Andreas, he hides out at Sebastian’s Airbnb. For now, Sky refuses to speak to Silva.

With “something big” planned, Bloom blames herself as she is the one who “got” Rosalind out. Back on campus, Stella tells the other three girls that Rosalind gave her a warning, although she doesn’t go into what that warning was. After Riven, Dane, and Beatrix chill out together, Bloom visits Rosalind. Rosalind tells Bloom that she doesn’t care that people her. But Bloom reminds her that she cares about one thing, her. As we soon learn, Bloom asks Rosalind for one-on-one lessons in an attempt to bring Rosalind down.

Will her play work? (I reckon we’ll find out in the season finale). Stella and Beatrix have a “trauma-off” just as a badly wounded Devin arrives on the scene. When he gets asked what happened, he says, “Rosalind”.
