Where is Tulsa King Season 1 Episode 10? It was reported that season 1 of Tulsa King would have ten episodes, but that did not transpire. We discuss the elusive tenth episode. This article contains spoilers.

With Sylvester Stallone in his first TV role, Tulsa King was always banking on being a hit. The fish out of water crime drama arrived with an almost humorous premise, and like most good TV, this show came out of left field and captured the imagination of the audience that tuned in.

With stunning writing, direction, and acting from the entire cast, and a violent yet somehow darkly comic tone, it seems that Tulsa King is a hit, and a second series has been green-lit. However, in one last meta twist, the current first season promised a tenth episode, trouble is nobody seems to know anything about it. So, of course, here at Ready Steady Cut, we are all asking, where is Tulsa King Season 1 Episode 10?

Where is Tulsa King Season 1 Episode 10?

We are still not sure what happened with the missing tenth episode. IMDB has the show listed with 10 episodes, but the last entry is episode 9, Happy Trails. Adding further confusion, episode 9 does play like an episode finale. We get a confrontation between Dwight’s team and Waltrip, and as well as that, we get a flashback that reveals the secrets of Dwight’s past. It feels like a conclusion to the season, but hang on, it’s only episode 9, but everything we knew about the show promised us 10. What’s going on?

How many episodes does Tulsa King Season 1 have?

The first season of Tulsa King is on record for having 10 episodes. However, the tenth episode has yet to surface, and fans are calling out for some information about the season finale. It seems that episode 9 is the final one of this season. However, the good news for the fan base is the show has already been given a second season, so at least we have that to hang on to. But the more we look, the more it seems that episode nine was the final entry.

How Did Tulsa King Season 1 end?

Season 1 of the hit show dropped episode 9 on January 8th, 2023, and did everything it could to tie up all the loose ends that were left hanging. We are treated to a flashback sequence where we find out what happened to Dwight.

There was a final showdown between Dwight’s crew and Waltrip, Dwight arranges for Waltrip’s bank to be emptied of millions of dollars and pays Stacy a retirement package of one million.

In a Home Alone-inspired trap, Dwight sets Waltrip’s men up while Phil Collins plays in the background. resulting in the brutal death of Waltrip.

Three months later, things seem settled, with Dwight enjoying a family gathering. However, in an unforeseen twist, Stacy is given a reprieve by the FBI, and this results in her arresting Dwight during the launch of his new business venture at the end of the episode.

What was the release date for Tulsa King Season 1 Episode 10?

With the release of episode 9 on January 8th, 2023, episode ten should have dropped on Sunday, January 15th, 2023. However, at the time of writing, the elusive episode seems to be the stuff of legend, and it appears unlikely that it exists.

Why is there no episode 10 of Tulsa King Season 1?

Well, we have no accurate concrete information at the time of writing, perhaps some of you out there will be able to hook us up, but there could be a couple of reasons behind the lost tenth. Story-wise, it may have been decided that for the sake of pacing, nine episodes were enough to conclude the first arc.

A tenth episode may have given the writers more time to finish the story, but perhaps there was just not enough material to fill a ninth and tenth episode, and content for a two-episode finale could have been condensed into one to help pacing issues.

How many times have you watched an episode of a show and felt it was just filler? Budget-wise, with the early announcement of a second season, things may have been shaken up to prepare for a second run, and chopping one episode off the first season would help the production team to move forward with a second season. However, this is all guesswork. If you have any ideas, let us know in the comments below.
